Recent cardiac diagnosis

I had an ecg which revealed right bundle branch block which was a shock. I have high blood pressure and am being referred to a cardiologist.

My worry is will the medics postpone my planned shoulder replacement surgery in the light of this. I am in so, so much pain and can barely move my arm. My sleep is constantly disturbed.

Any thoughts?

I have no medical knowledge but it sounds as if your heart is the more urgent by far would you be fit for an operation snd and an aesthetic with a heart blockage ?
I m sure someone will come on here with much more knowledge and help you more than me
Which ever happens I wish you good luck it must have been a big shock for you

Have goggled it Sally often no action is taken for the block, but as each case is individual your consultant is the only person who can advise you. Good luck

I also have a right branch bundle block.
Presumably had it since birth as it used to be said that I had a heart murmur!
I have had stent fitted and a total knee replacement, with no side effects.
Goo luck with your shoulder surgery, 🤞it goes ahead as planned.

I also have no knowledge but joint replacements are usually done under spinal anaesthesia ( although I don’t know about shoulders) so it may be ok.
