My name is Natasha Mehra. One day, I was walking on the road when a car passed by, and a small stone hit my eye with force after being thrown by the car's tire. After that, my eye stopped opening, and tears started flowing continuously. I went to the doctor and even got a scan done, which revealed that the injury was deep. It hasn’t healed yet, and I am still experiencing pain. If anyone has experienced something similar and knows how to recover from such an eye injury, please share your advice.

Oh Dear Natashamedra that is horrible for you. I'm afraid I don't have any experience of this but it sound as though it may take some time to recover. Have you some painkillers you can take? If so defitinely take them, don't try to manage without if you have been prescribed them. I hope you feel better soon.

Many years ago I was hit directly in my eye. My friend had a suitcase on the top of the car , he had one of those elasticated hook straps . He asked me to hook it on my side and then he grasped it and stretched it to its limit and it sprang back and hit my eye with such force. I was in an eye hospital for a few days and couldn't see but after about 5 days I could see ok . Nasty for you and I'm sure very sore . Fingers crossed your sight is fine . Rest while you can . Best wishes

Did you get any advice from your GP? Have you been referred to the eye clinic?
I think if not I would go back to your GP and ask for a referral.
Otherwise, if the scan showed nothing that would respond to treatment and that it will heal in time I guess you just have to be patient and hope for the best...sorry this has happened to you, our eyes are very precious,
