About ironing jeans

I iron as little as possible and as seldom as possible. Summer is worst because all those cotton things do look better ironed. My DS2's partner is obsessive about ironing, despite having a demanding career. I wouldn't iron children's tee shirts but she does. DS2 turns his hand to it as well. Other DS does almost all the family ironing and cooking; DiL does the cleaning.

Anyone remember putting jeans on and then getting into a bath of cold water to make sure they were skin tight? No need to worry about creases. Did I really do that Yep!!!!

I iron most things - my DD only irons if she really has to - her DH irons his own shirts for work - my DSs iron their own shirts also. Glad I taught them something useful. My DD tells me that she has absolutely no intention of spending her time ironing like she saw me doing throughout her childhood. I quite like ironing now - particularly as it is only for two of us and no work shirts either. Btw I also iron all jeans inside out - in fact most stuff is ironed inside out. I do itch to iron my Gs's tops sometimes, but resist as it would offend!!!!!
