Mattress topper

Hoping for some advice about bamboo mattress toppers. Do you have one and if so would you recommend?
I find the mattress on my bed too firm without a topper. Currently have a memory foam one but find it just too hot. I have seen a similar depth one with corner straps to hold it in place made from bamboo which is advertised as keeping you cool, unlike the memory foam. This sounds ideal but I would like to hear of others’ experiences before buying.
Any thoughts gratefully accepted.

I have a special Social Services mattress for my pressure ponts and arthritis on my bed.

It overlays quite a thick ordinary bed mattress. So the whole caboodle is quite high and l am relatively small 5ft 3inches.

A bit like the fairy tale "The Princess and the Pea.

So it can be quite difficult and a bit hazardous getting in and out of bed.

Thought it was worth mentioning.

Hope you find the right mattress for. you.

Good Luck

My bed too would be too high for comfort and safety but that I had the legs sawed as short as I required.

I bought a high tog.wool filled duvet and used that as a mattress topper. It is cool in summer and warm in winter.

It was also cheaper than a mattress topper

Hello again.
A final word from me on mattress toppers. I’ve had my Panda topper and duvet on my bed for 4 nights now and am absolutely delighted with them.
I haven’t woken up once with burning hot legs or had to throw off the duvet and finish up shivering but still with hot and restless legs, nor had to use my electric fan to cool down. And they are so comfortable. Just perfect.
A considered purchase certainly but for me worth every penny. They definitely won’t be going back and I’m now hoping to order the bamboo bed linen too.
Thank you everyone for your comments and feedback.
