Good morning all, what a beautiful day.
I had an email from what looked like a friend in Spain, something about it just didn't seem right. On the subject line was the name of my friend which I thought was odd so without opening it I guided the cursor over her name (this gives you the senders email address) and sure enough it was a scam. A lot of scammers depend upon you actually opening the email and then a load of viruses are released enabling them to access all your contacts details.
I would suggest always using this method with the cursor especially when you get an email from a financial institution which on the surface may look genuine, it only takes seconds and could save a lot of time and trouble.
