Had an email about this this morning. They say the charge is too expensive. Surely amazon can afford this?

I always use my credit card for purchases on line. I get rewards for using it and I also like the protection should anything go wrong. I will still buy from Amazon, their service is so good and their returns are no problem either. I have updated my details but to be honest am not too happy about it.

I use Visa Debit with Amazon and have done so for years, never had any issues. The risk of using a debit card with a big company like Amazon is virtually zero - however you do not have to let them save your card details if you are that worried about it.

I have always believed in having alternatives.
Amazon will now, confirmed by Amazon. use one of my alternatives.

Have always used a Barclaycard with Amazon, and use the points I earn to get vouchers for money off for future purchasers. Was surprised when I saw this.

Not a scam, just one very large company using its power against another very large company. I do not like using a debit card too often, prefer the safety of a credit card. So, have changed this over to one of my other cards which is Mastercard. But no points to be earned. Did get twenty quid off my next purchase with Amazon after making this change.

Do wonder if VISA will crumble before this?

Just another result of Brexit. It just keeps on giving!!!
