Who are Biden's puppet masters and why do they want to keep the war going?

I think we'd all like to know who/or what is really the President of America currently - as we all know it ain't Biden (as he's probably not capable of deciding what he wants for breakfast).

It is very very dangerous to have someone as far gone to dementia as he is nominally running a superpower - and I wouldnt even want him nominally running a tiny country like Leichtenstein or the local corner shop.

First action read the post properly

Biden wants to stop Russia gaining more land in Ukraine, by targeting Putins supply lines Russia will have to change to defence - he hopes.

With Russia in defence mode it will be easier for Trump to get a deal to end the war

I agree that POTUS Biden wants to stop Russia from gaining ground in the Ukraine, help Ukraine holding some of the Kursk region (from August incursion) - as Ukraine have already lost some of Kursk back.

I think Trump is less of a warmonger than Biden. He wants America to be ‘great’ and he won’t want to spend too much on weaponry. I just hope that things don’t escalate before he comes to power. I am sure, given his sort of personality, he will be more in tune with theses dictators. Easy to criticise him but I think that is the truth.

What is the evidence for Biden being 'far gone' in dementia'. What kind of dementia does he have? Alzheimers? vascular? If vascular, what kind of vascular? The different dementias affect people in many very different ways.

In fact there is little or no evidence he has any kind of dementia, although I agree there is evidence that he is mentally slowing down, but he doesn't govern alone. Like all presidents he has advisors around him and only today we had te Israeli/Hezbullah ceasefire announced and that would definitely have required a lot of person to person negotiation by him as President and not his advisors.

Biden has been and still is most definitely in charge of his adminstration, every bit as much as Ronald Regan was, where eveidence that he was suffering from early signs of dementia whils still in office, is much better documented. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6922000/

I wish I could be so hopeful. I think Trump will force a grossly unjust solution on Ukraine and NATO and the West will lose that countries trust and pro-Western outlook, pishing it back towards, probably, China, for international support.

Do we really want that?

I agree.. I think we need to keep a very close eye on China.. it has business concerns and land in so many countries now

nanna8 Thu 28-Nov-24 12:04:54

If you don’t like China’s policies you need to keep faith with the US. Like it or not. That’s why Starmer is trying to be more friendly towards Trump ( I somehow doubt they will ever be true ‘friends’ though)

I’d urge everyone to log on to the critic.co.uk and read “Why Ukraine almost certainly cannot win” by Philippe Lemoine. A recent, long and informative article.

Brilliant news on the POTUS Biden front -- Thousands of displaced people started returning to their homes in southern Lebanon in the first hours of a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah.

I'd assume negotiations were difficult, well done him.

It said on Radio 4 yesterday that it may not last... we'll see what happens when Trump takes over as he is firmly on Isarael's side..

What needs to happen is the Lebanese Army needs to take control and stop Hezbollah controlling large parts of the country.

The US could do this if it chose to, just like it guarantees the security of Egypt and Jordan

I also heard an excellent exposition of the Ukraine situation on R4 yesterday afternoon on a programme called The Briefing Roon.

It is the second or third time I have heard this programme and each time its analysis of a current area of concern has been masterly. They did a previous one on the water industry, and revealed just how thoroughly the foreign entities that bought the water companies, have beld them dry of money and loaded them with debt.

I too listened to that. I can’t praise it enough.
Anyone who is seriously interested in this war should listen to it.

I don't think Joe Biden is running the country. I think Jill Biden is.

Ha ha. Proof?

I don't think Joe Biden is running the country. I think Jill Biden is.

That wouldn't surprise me - and the body language recently looked to me like he's served her purposes. Recent photo of the pair of them and the body language was very crystal clear - of her looking at him closely and looking thoroughly dismayed at "how far gone" he is. Also recent footage of him stumbling repeatedly on sandy beach they were both walking along - and her body language was that she was blanking him (ie it said to me "You've served my purposes now - so you can forget me making the remotest effort to look like an attentive wife"). She thinks he's reached his "best before" date for sure....

Ha ha. Proof?

No proof. Just a guess. Likely, it's just gossip. There must be hundreds of departments involved in running the country.

Joe Biden does not seem to have a public presence anmore, does he?

I don't think your comments about Jill and Joe were very nice. You can't say how a wife feels about her husband or put quotes into her mouth that she never said just by psychoanalysing one clip or photo.

M0nica Fri 29-Nov-24 19:46:54

Macadia

I don't think Joe Biden is running the country. I think Jill Biden is.

Since his wife has never shown any interest in politics, or even being a prominent First Lady, I doubt she is doing anything remotely political now. Biden has a big enough corps of advisors and cabinet members to run the country with him just as a cipher at the top.

this is completely unfounded supposition

Macadia Fri 29-Nov-24 22:58:04

I dug a little deeper and found that the gossip about Jill was running the country was based on her sitting at the head of the table at the Presidential Cabinet Meeting on October 20, 2024 and was a LIE produced by no other than Donald Trump.

Jill was not running the Presidential Cabinet meeting as some fakers chose to say. She was giving a talk on Women's Health Research for new research on women’s midlife health and assessing unmet needs to support women’s health studies.

Uggh. I need to remove myself from this "fake news". Sorry!

Macadia Fri 29-Nov-24 23:02:34

Donald Trump is such a bigly LIAR. He is playing us. He spews lies at every opportunity and probably laughs at people (like me) following these lies. I remember a few years ago when he said people should inject bleach intraveneously to remove the covid virus. I will put my head in the sand just to remove myself from the nonsense this being vomits to the press.

nanna8 Fri 29-Nov-24 23:12:11

Get used to him and make the best of it because he will be around for a while now. You never know, he might turn out to be better than expected. I think he will be fine for the US but the rest of us ? Not so much.

David49 Sat 30-Nov-24 06:50:39

It seems to me that Jill Biden is being the classical “Political Wife”, standing by her man.
In contrast Melania just lets Trump go his own way and is happy to be wheeled out when she is told to, she did try to get involved but got lambasted by the media.

M0nica Sat 30-Nov-24 07:42:55

Macadia Social media is a very unreliable souce of information. Better to stick to the main news channels. They are not perfect, but their biasses are well known, and they are a lot more reliable than social media.
