I'm Essex born and bred but have lived in East Sussex for 35 years.

Brussels, Belguim, here for 18 years and not in any of the EU institutions, I am a retired chef.

Born in Liverpool and still miss it and the people but not the weather it's a tad warmer and little less rain (mostly) in Kent. It's nonsense that people are friendlier up north the people here are wonderful i'v made really good friendships here. I feel really lucky.

Welcome, Seashore. I lived for some years near King's Lynn and a trip to Hunstanton was always a pleasure. I loved that part of the coast - Holme-next-the-sea was a special favourite. I would happily have stayed in Norfolk but ex's job brought us north. Enjoy Gransnet and do join in the threads.
