...some of us are keen to have another meet up. I think the art gallery was a good place, especially now it has been re vamped. I'm away on and off quite a lot over the next couple of months, but if any of the 'locals' arrange something I'll do my best to fit in. The good thing about the art gallery is that there's no need to book a table so numbers can be more flexible.

If any Ines coming from a southerly direction by train, I'll be getting on at Warwick about 10.00 . Cream trench style jacket, jeans and distinctive bag.

Glad I logged on and saw this Meetup. What a pleasure to meet you all.

What a lovely meet-up. There will be an extra dimension to reading your threads, Anya, Nonnie, Blinko, Lucky Legs and Elrel. Looking forward to the next one. X

Yes, thank you to those who organised this. Lovely to put faces to names and find out about you. Not long back home, just having a wine and a sit down.

Elrel Thu 22-Jun-17 21:10:54

Lovely to meet you all, looking forward seeing people in September!

Blinko Fri 23-Jun-17 08:35:40

Great to see so many fellow GNers yesterday. I'm looking forward to seeing you all in September, dates tbn. Hope more West Mids people will be able to join us then too. JL Grand Central seems a good central meeting point. Any other suggestions? brew cupcake

The room with the bull used to always be open. A member of staff told me that they now open it when they're especially busy. Where we sat was fine, a very enjoyable coffee and chat. And scon/scone!

I live a 25 minute train ride from Birmingham, so would love to attend your meet up (depending on the date as on hols part of September).

Elrel Wed 26-Jul-17 15:55:50

Are you meeting in September? When because I'd like to come but am away a lot in September..

Tegan2 Thu 27-Jul-17 14:42:27

Same here [in fact away all of September after 9th].

Luckylegs9 Thu 03-Aug-17 07:10:55

How about first week in October?

Tea and cake Thu 03-Aug-17 07:13:49

That sounds better.

Tegan2 Thu 03-Aug-17 12:50:33

I'm at the dentist one day that week [think it's the Tuesday..need to check]so later in the week would be better.

NannyJan53 Tue 08-Aug-17 08:30:35

I am away in Spain and not back until Fri 6th October, so second week would be better for me. Although I realise no date will be convenient for everyone, so have to go with the majority!

Blinko Tue 08-Aug-17 08:34:11

I'm happy to go with the majority. We're not away till middle to end October, so earlier would be ok.

pensionpat Tue 08-Aug-17 08:42:11

There is another Carluccios within New St. It us upstairs from the station and is just behind the many and varied eating places which can be seen from the ground level. I shall not be able to attend this one. Sunday is the day I see my family. There will be another!

Anya Tue 08-Aug-17 09:02:41

I'll try and fit in with any arrangements made. Much more flexible this school year as 3 out of 4 grandchildren will now be attending schools where their parents work! Hopefully this will mean less school run duties.....we shall see though ?

Blinko Thu 10-Aug-17 20:42:47

Hi again. Have we agreed a date yet?

NannyJan53 Sun 13-Aug-17 18:29:20

Not sure who makes the decision on this? W/C 9th October is good for me.

Anya Sat 19-Aug-17 20:53:17

How about I propose a date - say Wednesday 11th October and we take it from there?? ?

NannyJan53 Mon 21-Aug-17 12:14:46

Yes, Wednesday 11th October is ok for me. Hopefully others can make that date too?

Elrel Mon 21-Aug-17 12:51:47

Unfortunately I'm not able to make term time Tuesdays or Wednesdays but shall be with you in spirit! ☕️?

Lazigirl Mon 21-Aug-17 14:02:28

Hi. I'm in Shropshire but seems to be nothing doing locally with GNET so would love to meet up. Is it OK if I come?
