...some of us are keen to have another meet up. I think the art gallery was a good place, especially now it has been re vamped. I'm away on and off quite a lot over the next couple of months, but if any of the 'locals' arrange something I'll do my best to fit in. The good thing about the art gallery is that there's no need to book a table so numbers can be more flexible.

Don't know about that Lazigirl 1hmm]

Only joking of course grin I'm not in charge here but I think we'd all love to meet you.

Blinko Tue 22-Aug-17 13:20:59

The more the merrier, Lazigirl. Looking forward to seeing as many as can make the 11th October.

pensionpat Tue 22-Aug-17 14:36:31

At the moment 11th October seems fine for me, but will know nearer the time.

Anya Thu 24-Aug-17 07:42:23

11.00 ish???

pensionpat Thu 24-Aug-17 09:12:28

11ish is good. People who could spare the time could have lunch.

Venue?

NannyJan53 Mon 18-Sept-17 10:04:59

Just thought I would push this to the top. The Art Gallery has been suggested as a venue to meet?

Tegan2 Mon 18-Sept-17 11:43:35

I tend to think that meeting at somewhere like the Art Gallery (where you don't have to book) is a good idea as people always tend to have to drop out at the last minute. I'm back from holiday then so might tootle along (although it does take me weeks to unpack and get back to any sort of normality). I love the Art Gallery.

Blinko Tue 19-Sept-17 08:36:14

I like the Art Gallery. I think it's also fairly accessible for people with limited mobility.

pensionpat Tue 19-Sept-17 08:38:19

The Art Gallery would suit me too

NannyJan53 Tue 19-Sept-17 09:37:17

Outside the Art Gallery at 11.00am on 11th October?

Shall we confirm this date and venue, and anyone who can make it post on this thread?

Tea and cake Tue 19-Sept-17 11:00:45

Do we have to wear a red carnation and hover, don't want to latch onto the wrong group!.... I will try to be there but it depends on family circumstances

Blinko Tue 19-Sept-17 11:11:55

I shall dig out the coral mac again. Seemed to work well last time some of us met. Also, I have a GN 'poster' to stand on our table, once inside for anyone who comes along later. Looking forward to seeing some old and some new faces smile

pensionpat Tue 19-Sept-17 11:57:28

Looking forward to it.

I'm still ok for next Wednesday. Just checking it's still going ahead. ?

Blinko Fri 06-Oct-17 08:31:17

I'll be there.

NannyJan53 Sat 07-Oct-17 08:57:14

Just back from our holidays. I will be there, if I can remember how to find the Art Gallery ! Will be walking from Moor St. Station.

Blinko Tue 10-Oct-17 11:53:06

It's tomorrow, folks! Looking forward to everyone who can make it. Outside the Art Gallery (Chamberlain Square) 11am. I'll be wearing a bright coral mac....

Nonnie Tue 10-Oct-17 12:24:43

I didn't know about it until I saw this today so I won't be there. Probably wouldn't have felt up to it anyway as still grieving.

Blinko Tue 10-Oct-17 15:05:59

So sorry, Nonnie. Maybe next time flowers

Anya Tue 10-Oct-17 15:07:49

Too poorly. Next time I hope ?

pensionpat Tue 10-Oct-17 15:10:59

Id been looking forward to coming, but something urgent has cropped up. So disappointing but will see you at the next one. Enjoy.

Tea and cake Tue 10-Oct-17 15:23:41

Well I will still turn up and see if anyone else does!
