We're meeting up in Dorking, Surrey at 1.00pm on Wednesday 7 December.

This is a new thread to confirm and advertise it. So far we are:

Do join us!

alchemillamollis Thu 17-Nov-16 15:07:27

This is our chosen venue.

Grannyknot Thu 17-Nov-16 15:29:22

Hi alchemillamollis and everyone, sorry to start this confirmation thread off with a cancellation, but I can no longer join you on the 7th. I have (a now rare occurrence) paid work on that day and I can't get out of it.

Enjoy your meetup in lovely Dorking.

alchemillamollis Thu 17-Nov-16 16:39:15

Oh, I'm so sorry, GrannyKnot, I thought I had taken your name off the list as per your PM but it crept back on. D'oh. But also sorry you won't be there! We'll raise a teacup to you, and hope to see you at the next one.

Goldenspring Sat 19-Nov-16 10:09:42

Thanks for booking this up, alchemillamollis. I'll see you at gorgeous gertie's at 1pm.

envy smile

MiniMouse Thu 01-Dec-16 12:51:24

I'm not going to make it to Gertie's next week. I had a six year old Darth Vader launching himself at me repeatedly on Sunday (on a mission for world domination) and he seems to have rearranged some of my vertebrae. So . . . some gentle osteopath manipulation beckons!!

Hope you all have a lovely time - I'll try not to be too tbenvy

alchemillamollis Sun 04-Dec-16 00:59:38

Sorry you won't be able to make it, MiniMouse. Here's the new list:

If anyone else would like to come along, please do!

Greenfinch Sun 04-Dec-16 08:12:35

Looking forward to it.Sorry to hear about your injuries MiniMouse. Hope treatment is successful.

MiniMouse Sun 04-Dec-16 19:52:08

Thank you alchem & greenf I sat with a firm sausage cushion behind my back yesterday and I felt (and heard tbshock) a few clonks as various parts of my spine went back into place!! Just waiting for the rest now tbgrin

Greenfinch Sun 04-Dec-16 20:32:44

That must have been really painful.

MiniMouse Sun 04-Dec-16 21:38:00

Oddly enough, it was a huge relief!

Grannyknot Sun 04-Dec-16 21:41:53

I'm sorry to be missing the get together. minimouse that sounds like DIY chiropractic treatment!

Goldenspring Mon 05-Dec-16 13:08:36

I'm so sorry, but I'm not sure I will get there on Wed. I have been ill for a few weeks with a virus, but was certain I would be OK by this week. It's touch and go. I'll try my best to be there, but if not I shall keep an eye on the forum to see if another meeting is organised.

alchemillamollis Tue 06-Dec-16 09:49:14

Don't worry, Goldenspring - please do come if you can, but otherwise you can come to the next one.

Likewise if any Gransnetters find they can come along at the last minute, please do just come. All welcome.

alchemillamollis Tue 06-Dec-16 15:26:52

We're definitely expecting the following tomorrow:

And hopefully Goldenspring. I think that's right? Any more? Small but select!

Greenfinch Tue 06-Dec-16 17:02:31

What about purple daffodil?

alchemillamollis Tue 06-Dec-16 22:21:01

I hope she won't mind me saying - she has PM'd to say she can't make it.

Greenfinch Tue 06-Dec-16 22:39:39

Oh we will be a small group then.

alchemillamollis Wed 07-Dec-16 00:04:06

Small, but perfectly formed. grin If anyone finds they can come at the last minute, do just show up.

Purpledaffodil Wed 07-Dec-16 08:55:46
