Dumfries is only only one hour and fifty minutes by train from Glasgow.
If posters can travel from York to Edinburgh for a meet up or Inverness to the Glasgow one, travelling from Dumfries is a dawdle. ?

Is Dumfries close enough to be considered a suburb of Glasgow?
