I really enjoyed our meet ups before Covid. At present I’m not getting out enough. Sadly John Lewis is no longer in Brum, gone, scones and all.
Please post if you are interested in a coffee or lunch meet up. I would love to meet old friends and make new ones. Nonnie, Tegan, Blinko, Hellobaby, I hope we’ll meet again - soon.

Elrel yes I decided that the tram was a step too far this time, finding the right exit from New Street was quite enough 😁
I used the Google maps walking option on my phone which was very straightforward 👍

Looking forward to meeting you all at next meet up

Are we going to arrange a date in June, I think it was mentioned when we last met?
At the moment I am free any day apart from Monday 3rd 🙂

Elrel Thu 16-May-24 22:51:24

Anyone want to suggest a day? We have had a Tuesday and a Wednesday so far.

At the moment only days unable to do 4th, 10th and 13th.
Hope to finally make it when you next meet up.

Tuesdays and Wednesdays are my best days, but I am away from 11th to 23rd June.

Oh dear, the diary is filling up for this month already, anyone thinking July might be better?

NannyJan53 Sun 02-Jun-24 09:25:33

July would be better for me, although we are away for a week from the 3rd!

Elrel Thu 06-Jun-24 23:46:06

Wednesday 26th June is that a possibility or should we leave it until July?

V3ra Fri 07-Jun-24 00:24:28

Wednesday 26th June is good for me Elrel 👍

Gymstagran Fri 07-Jun-24 06:50:36

26th June works for me

NannyJan53 Fri 07-Jun-24 15:49:51

That's a shame, I have arranged a day out with a friend for 26th June! Would have looked forward to it. Hopefully I can make the next one.

Elrel Fri 07-Jun-24 23:59:08

We shall meet on Wednesday 26th June at 11am in The Exchange, Broad Street, Birmingham. The Edgbaston Village bound Metro tram stops right outside the entrance, opposite the big library and the Repertory Theatre. All welcome, we’re looking forward to meeting you.

Gymstagran Tue 11-Jun-24 06:32:52

Anyone else free to come along?

monk08 Wed 12-Jun-24 07:25:43

Hopefully I can make it waiting to hear on hospital appointment.

I am looking forward to meeting other grans at The Exchange Broad Street at 11am on Wednesday 26th June. It is opposite the Repertory Theatre and Library. The Metro tram heading for Edgbaston Village shops right outside The Exchange. So far it seems that there will be 3 or 4 of us there. Anyone else who would like to join us is most welcome to just turn up. I am small and white haired with a 3 wheel rollator.

I may be able to make this. My friend may have to cancel our day out. She is waiting confirmation that a plasterer is coming that day.

Hellobaby1 Mon 24-Jun-24 07:42:34

Looking forward to seeing you all there😁

Gymstagran Mon 24-Jun-24 15:05:08

I will be there

Elrel Tue 25-Jun-24 01:33:10

I shall also also go to Snobs on Broad Street to pick up programmes for Birmingham’s brilliant (and mostly free) Jazz Festival in July.

Have just found out DH has booked a trip on the Severn valley railway so unfortunately I will not be able to make it.
Have a great meet up and maybe next time I can finally meet you all.
