For Newsnight: should we end universal benefits for better off pensioners?

An ally of David Cameron's, Nick Boles, is about to make a speech calling for an end to universal benefits for better-off pensioners - bus passes, winter fuel allowance, free prescriptions - and the money to be spent on childcare.

We may go on Newsnight tonight to talk about this. What do you think? Any examples of how these benefits help or what they mean to people?

No greatnan just learned how to play the game now,and I do love it here,love to hear the old boys talk with their accents,have found the people to be welcoming and friendly,I would say I was observant ,once bitten twice shy grin

I'm glad so many of you do like Norfolk. It's difficult for me to compare as I've only ever lived here. You need to be careful though if you stay here for more than about ten years, you'll find newcomers will take you as a native - except if you're Scots.
