This Government has definitely lost the plot

This has been mentioned on another thread, but I think it is important enough to warrant a thread of its own.

Farm animals are no longer to be protected by welfare codes. These are to scrapped by this government.

What sort of message is that giving to those farmers whose priority is not the animal welfare?

I despair! What is the matter with them. What else are they going to not care about?

I am not vegetarian, but worry about the meat I do eat and so always buy organic free range as I feel it is the best I can do if I eat the animal.

This can't be right.

Not about the government but about elephants being killed. Half the elephants in Cameroon have been killed recently for the ivory trade. Yahoo is still allowing ivory to be traded on its site. There are over a million signatures already.

Oh no I can't! it stays with me for days and days [ shock]. I'll willingly sign a petition though but if I have to see a dead or dying elephant I can't do it.

I agree entirely. I saw a photo of a dog trusted up ready to be slaughtered for meat and its haunted me ever since. Of course ill sign it if there's no awful pictures.
