May is to make an important announcement at 11.15

sunseeker Tue 18-Apr-17 20:12:54

I belong to another online forum where the GE is being discussed and whilst strong views are held there is no petty name calling or personal remarks, any chance of that happening here.

daphnedill Tue 18-Apr-17 20:13:09

What's this then?

trisher Tue 18-Apr-17 20:13:18

I really am beginning to seriously doubt your authenticity Annie

trisher Tue 18-Apr-17 20:17:30

But daphnedill Annie has said it isn't so and Annie is an honourable woman

Jalima1108 Tue 18-Apr-17 20:17:54

I don't think Anniebach is alone in her views though, widespread in the Labour party and the wider electorate of Labour voters.

Jalima1108 Tue 18-Apr-17 20:19:21

I think criticising Corbyn or other political leaders is fine but making unkind or facetious remarks about other posters is just not on.

durhamjen Tue 18-Apr-17 20:19:41

Theresa May has ruled out taking part in TV debates before the election.
She's scared.

durhamjen Tue 18-Apr-17 20:21:05

Exactly what I said, Jalima. Annie can say what she likes about Corbyn, but I can't say the same thing about her? Is that fair?

rosesarered Tue 18-Apr-17 20:22:55

Yes it damn well is fair!
If you don't know the difference, then it's high time you found out durhamjen

Jalima1108 Tue 18-Apr-17 20:22:59

Yes, that is quite right djen but you are not the only person posting smile

Unless one of the posters is Corbyn himself in which case he could report posts about him.

Anniebach Tue 18-Apr-17 20:23:33

Surly not scared ? Just has moral principals like Jez who refused to take part in one referendum debate because he didn't approve of Cammeron - this was your explanation Jen for the truth, Jez didn't take part in the referendum debates because he was not a remainer, he has wanted out for many a year

Ana Tue 18-Apr-17 20:25:09

'She's scared' - yeah, quivering in her boots...grin

Anniebach Tue 18-Apr-17 20:26:09

When did the militant toad post on GN? When did he join GN?

rosesarered Tue 18-Apr-17 20:26:46

If T May had been scared....she would not just have announced a GE!

rosesarered Tue 18-Apr-17 20:27:29

Militant Toad.... love it.grin

Anniebach Tue 18-Apr-17 20:27:41

I think it wrong to say May is scared, I think it is verbal abuse realy

rosesarered Tue 18-Apr-17 20:28:11

...or Tedious Trot?

Ana Tue 18-Apr-17 20:28:11

Playground language again - sad really.

rosesarered Tue 18-Apr-17 20:29:42

When this thread ends in six weeks, shall we have another one which lasts for the next five years?Who is up for it?grin

Jalima1108 Tue 18-Apr-17 20:37:02

When did the militant toad post on GN? When did he join GN?
Well, he could be any one of us shock

Not me, obviously grin

JessM Tue 18-Apr-17 20:40:57

if you were a loyal and democratic member of the Labour Party you would not be continually attacking the democratically elected leader annie.
If you were posting this kind of thing online without hiding behind an alias, you would be in trouble with the party for sure.
And now you are defending the PM.
So no surprise that some members are unsure whether to be just plain disgusted with your behaviour on here - or to wonder whether you are genuinely a Labour supporter.

Jalima1108 Tue 18-Apr-17 20:43:20

But even Labour MPs are attacking JC and we do not live in a state like North Korea where blind obedience to the supreme leader is required.

GracesGranMK2 Tue 18-Apr-17 20:44:02

Yes it damn well is fair!
If you don't know the difference, then it's high time you found out durhamjen

That's the best laugh I have had all day. Are you standing with your hands on your hips and wagging a finger too Roses? It does create a really funny mental picture.

rosesarered Tue 18-Apr-17 20:44:23

Anybody with eyes to see can tell that ab only has a beef with the Leader and not the Party.Surely that is obvious.

rosesarered Tue 18-Apr-17 20:48:23

....and my best laugh today GGMK2 has been reading your posts about knitting and guillotines, you must be a big fan of the French Revolution, or have you just read 'A Tale Of Two Cities' perhaps.
If durhamjen really thinks that slagging off a politician is the same as another poster, then she needs to know differently ( and am sure that dj knows this already.)
