Political daughter has just rushed in to tell me it is the bog standard podium and not the posh one so odds are it is an...ELECTION! She tells me that podium is used for party political. Nails down to the quick already.

Yes, the Palace would announce things Royal. It can't be a death as BBC bods not sombre or dark-dressed enough.
An American journalist pointed out that if it was something international Trump would have tweeted it by now.
