ab is backed up by contributors who do not share her political views nightowl but rather share her opinion that she is fully entitled to air her views just as all other posters are entitled to do unless they they are being personally insulting.
Since ab talks about Corbyn and other politicians, then nobody should feel they have a perfect right to 'have a go' at her.

I wasn't being rude roses; I have a long memory and, unless someone is big enough to apologise and then behave as if they mean it, I never forget and I never forgive. I have not come across anyone who has behaved as you do on here. Obviously that is just a personal view but that may explain my comment.

I said this on another thread but can we not be a bit kinder to each other.

Political views, like religion, can be very strongly held. If someone really wants to win another across to their point of view, it is almost impossible on a forum like this. But it certainly won't sway people to even consider a different point of view when insults are bandied back and forth like this.

It's just like everyone is shouting at each other and no one is listening.

ab is entitled to air her views and I am entitled to be fed up to the back teeth with the same message being repeated ad infinitum - as is GracesGran.

As an outsider, who is unlikely to vote Labour anyway, I am entitled to voice the opinion that ab's monotonous message is unlikely to do the Labour Party any good, but is likely to push people towards voting Conservative, which probably suits your agenda roses.

You are being totally self-indulgent Annie and I have asked why but you never answer the question. You are using your privileged life position to rant on without any thought about what the next five years will mean to others. It appears you are stamping your feet about the taking back 'your' party from the previous New Labour takeover with not a thought about what a Tory government will mean. Personally, I would let what happens happen to Labour but I just cannot help thinking about those who have already been so affected by the Tory governments and those who will be as a consequence of a landslide.

These thoughts also apply to the idea of everybody being nice. Of course, if it everyone adhered to this it would work but they just don't and they use the lack of 'niceness' to push the Tory argument or beat up upon left wing posters. You can say it happens both ways but that is it - it does happen both ways. We have the privileged lives that allow us to even think about not being where it is not 'nice'. We are not homeless nor are we starving. We have the free time to be on here.

The view of the Tories is of an economy that does not allow for the care of people in these positions and we should not be dwelling on our first world problem of not liking a particular man but should be doing all we can to stop the aggressive approach of the Tories.

Younger voters don't even know of the characters you admire so much. They live in the "here and now" and have their futures ahead of them.

Apparently 90% of them are now registered to vote, so let's hope they use it.

The next step is to remind uni students to apply for a postal vote, if necessary. The timing of the GE will mean that some have already left uni, where they might be registered. Others are registered at their parents' address, so will have to apply for a postal vote.

This could be the first time they've voted, so they won't know the procedure.

Some of them have learnt their lesson after the referendum, from which many were disqualified from voting.

Grow up ab. All I'm trying to do is point out that you're repeating the line being spun by the right-wing media. GN is a public forum. People will read what you write and be put off voting for Labour, alongside all the other anti-Corbyn rhetoric. The more they read about Corbyn's hat or his hiding behind the glass door, the less they're likely to read about all the good things which many Labour MPs do.

Pah! I can't be bothered with your petty grievances ab. I'm not voting Labour, but that's not because I don't like Corbyn's hat, but because I don't think Labour has good policies. Ironically, if you try reading them ab they're not very hard-left at all.
