So what do you call it RAR when you have agreed to buy something but don't know either the cost or the consequences? Blank cheque seems good to me or, on another thread I have suggested The Theresa May Party uses the Mushroom Theory of Manangement.

Blank Cheque - in the literal sense, is a cheque that has no numerical value written in, but is already signed.

Voting May into power is signing that cheque while she refuses to tell us the figures that will go into it. What else can we call it?

When we moved back to Hull in the 80s my husband was responsible for the refurbishment of Ferens Art Gallery. It's been refurbished again since then.
Another thing he was responsible for was the Transport Museum, and the Hasholme Boat. Beverley Road baths was closed for two years, as it was submerged there until they decided what to do with it, just in case you went to that museum.

I just do not understand how some here can support Corbyn, claim he has principles. He wrote for a publication which stated - a good start to the peace talks, five Tories dead, this about the Brighton bombing and he invited two mrmbers if the IRA to Westminster five weeks after the bombing.
