I am seriously getting worried, that that joke Corbyn might end up running he country, which will within months, put a new social policy in place to be paid for by the ones that work, and on their knees knees already, borrowing money, left right and centre, so that llike every labour government in history leave us in massive debts that will increase until, once again the country votes conservative to sort it all out. I probably won't be here it see that happen. I notuce the frugal life style Blair had, an example to all labour voters. He and his very rich family did very well out of it, pity the country didn't, particularly those youngsters sent to Iraq.

I think the same as most of the tweets on here. Lot of fuss about nothing. At least he had a figure to look up, which is more than Mayhem has.

Calling Corbyn a man of principle doesn't make him a man of principle.

You seem to want to help the landslide for Theresa May AB but how about her principles.

Theresa may is in alliance – a strong, staunch alliance with a Saudi dictatorship, which exports international extremism and which is a threat to the national security of this country and the security of its people.

You should know (being a Labour Party supporter) that Jeremy Corbyn has taken a principled stand against the regime. Of the extremism that we have seen, all over this world, much of it comes from this source. Theresa May isn't just supporting it and arming it as they bomb Yemen with British bombs, she is ignoring the huge impact this regime has in spreading radicalisation.

The Conservative government put the flag at half-mast when the Saudi dictator died. We, because of this Conservative government, have show explicit support for one of the most barbarous regimes on the face of the earth today.

This is what you are now supporting AB.

Well said, GracesGran.

Here's one Labour MP who supports Corbyn.

... a few of the Labour side were anything but courteous.

May called a vanity election, it was her arrogance that exchanged her name for the party name and it was absolute rubbish that she needed a strong hand the Brexit negotiations. The EU have no interest in how many seats Theresa May has. There is actually talk that they think she will be weaker as the far right of her party will not be able to hold sway.

Last night she was heckled and laughed at over her policies on the NHS, which she has plunged into a humanitarian crisis, and a real terms fall in pupil funding which is vandalising our education system - more than any other MP in this election this is what she put herself up for.

No views on Corbyn having to search his iPad to find costings for childcare as promised in his manifesto Jen?

At a meeting televised this afternoon, in answer to a journalists question, he apologised and while explaining the policy and the costings. It wasn't serious; he made it light enough stop others feeling uncomfortable. When told there had been on-line attacks on the interviewer he again took the whole responsibility and said no one should be doing such things. He gave a wholly human and principled response. He didn't blame anyone else (as May has done on several occasions) nor did he say it hadn't happened (which she has also done).

But I still like what Barry Gardiner said in the above link.

Shows what a gentleman Corbyn is, GracesGran.

You obviously have a different interpretion as to what was actually said. I think what we need in the fight against terrorism is for Corbyn to sit down with the 23,000 we have here, and explain where they are going wrong, no need for killings, just a honest heart to heart, sure they will see the light, they know they shouldn't be doing such things.

Anniebach Tue 30-May-17 16:48:45

The future king attended the funeral of the Saudi leader

durhamjen Tue 30-May-17 16:51:30

Who is that address to, luckylegs?
Which 23,000? You keep mentioning that number, but do not say who they are.
Is that another of your catch-all numbers, tarring everyone from the same background with the same brush?
All benefit claimants are scroungers...etc.

trisher Tue 30-May-17 16:57:37

Annie if May is such a 'shy woman, more comfortable behind a desk' how the hell is she going to manage the Brexit negotiations? Hide behind a desk and send out smoke signals or something. I can imagine her insisting she won't agree to things then suddenly and completely crumbling. As she has done over so many other things.

durhamjen Tue 30-May-17 17:00:14

Do you think the news will ever move onto something else, GracesGran, something more important than Corbyn taking his time to find the correct figure?

GracesGranMK2 Tue 30-May-17 17:00:18

Who sent him Annie?

durhamjen Tue 30-May-17 17:02:51

Trisher, we will not know what May is going to do as she wants to keep all negotiations secret.

daphnedill Tue 30-May-17 17:03:03

Latest opinion poll on voting intentions. Hmm! Looks like one generation or other is going be pretty disgruntled for the next five years.

GracesGranMK2 Tue 30-May-17 17:03:54

I'm sorry Jen but personally - and this is my highly prejudiced opinion - I don't think she is worth talking to who ever she was aiming at. 'Weeding out' indeed - and when she loses one argument she just puts another one forward that is just as without any basis as the last one. Not worth the energyangry

GracesGranMK2 Tue 30-May-17 17:04:52

That was re your post Tue 30-May-17 16:51:30 Jen and the person mentioned in it - sorry.

durhamjen Tue 30-May-17 17:06:12

Did you see the Ukip vote as well, daphne? More of them going to Labour now.

durhamjen Tue 30-May-17 17:13:10

Written by a Ukip specialist, so he should know, or is biased?

Anniebach Tue 30-May-17 17:21:56

Well trisher, hiding behind a desk compared to Corbyn hiding behind a glass door!

durhamjen Tue 30-May-17 17:27:03

Thanks, GracesGran. I realised that. It's like being hung up on benefit fraud, isn't it, probably 0.03% of the population.

I do wish people would stop asking Corbyn if he'd nuke the planet, too. It seems quite reasonable to say he wouldn't.

daphnedill Tue 30-May-17 17:30:37

Was this the chart about UKIP voters? It looks as though there are still more still going to the Conservatives, but shift to Labour.

GracesGranMK2 Tue 30-May-17 17:34:27

I do wish people would stop asking Corbyn if he'd nuke the wplanet, too. It seems quite reasonable to say he wouldn't.

grin I so agree. He says it; they keep going. What do they expect him to say. He definitely seems a safer pair of hands to me but apparently you should know now what you might do in several years time regardless of the circumstances.

GracesGranMK2 Tue 30-May-17 17:35:59

Interesting Daphne. I know it wasn't me who asked but thank-you.

durhamjen Tue 30-May-17 17:36:55

Yes, that's it. Did you notice that some have gone back to Ukip in the last week? I wonder why. All the polls say Ukip will not win a single seat. Even Boston don't seem to want Nuttall.

Durhamjen
The Secret Services, Anti Terrorist Force, as reported in the Times and all major newspapers, this is a modest figure, all are supposed to be being observed, but as you know Corbyn voted against all 17 proposals to bring in extra measures to apprehend those that pose a threat to our country, the powers would have been monitored by the police and undercover workers. Just put in 23,000 terrorists in uk and all the articles in the newspapers come up.
