After stirring everyone up , Nigel Farrage seems to have feathered his nest , and now is nowhere to be seen or heard of but do any of you who were his supporters now feel let down by his cut & run behaviour?

rosesarered Sun 16-Jul-17 19:49:18

I don't think we have many UKIP supporters on the forum, but talking about cut and run.....Cameron did it last year!

norose4 Sun 16-Jul-17 19:53:03

True perhaps, but not quite the same as Farrage's campaign for leaving

He popped up this week, I reckon he is still behind the scenes.

He was threatening riot and violence if we don't get a hard cut and run Brexit.

It was very unpleasant.

Whatever happens it will be down to the whole country and not to a nasty little man like Farage.

He's just finishing his show on LBC Radio.

norose4 Sun 16-Jul-17 19:58:52

He reminds me of a school ground bully , stirring up trouble, then extricating himself to stand back & enjoying the ensuing fight!

whitewave Sun 16-Jul-17 20:01:08

He has some very dodgy friends.

petra Sun 16-Jul-17 20:01:37

Hardly hiding if your on the radio most nights.
It's a phone in programme, so why don't you phone him and give your opinions.

whitewave Sun 16-Jul-17 20:03:42

Is that the same station that had Hopkins on until she got beyond the pale?

norose4 Sun 16-Jul-17 20:04:48

Not enough air time!!

Baggs Sun 16-Jul-17 20:08:28

Video clips of him crop up on Twitter. There was one recently. Don't know what about.

Gagagran Sun 16-Jul-17 20:09:44

He was at the men's final at Wimbledon today

whitewave Sun 16-Jul-17 20:12:06

So was some of my familygrin

He's still being asked his opinion on all and sundry on the airwaves. I heard him pontificating on Charlie Gard the other day, why we need to know his opinions I have no idea. He must be raking in the dosh and laughing all the way to the bank.

whitewave Sun 16-Jul-17 21:18:46

He is fraudulently taking our money and treating us like idiots.

Penstemmon Sun 16-Jul-17 21:49:38

Apparently at Wimbledon today. A friend who was there saw him!

BlueBelle Mon 17-Jul-17 06:36:00

Under a rock where he belongs I hope... but no he's sprouting on London radio each night

Cindersdad Mon 17-Jul-17 06:54:01

Keeping his head generally low as he realises the damage he has done.

suzied Mon 17-Jul-17 06:59:58

Think he's revelling in the damage. He only tries to keep a low profile about his love life which seems to involve French women who live in the UK. How ironic is that?

norose4 Mon 17-Jul-17 09:42:17

I have just watched a very shiny tanned Mr Farrage speaking on Sky News, he now says we will end up with a very watered down 'leave' & that we will affectivley be leaving the EU in ' name only' well that was all a waste of money & time then Mr Farage!!!

whitewave Mon 17-Jul-17 09:46:14

The problem is that he is threatening riot and violence. I'm not clear how that will be managed but he is someone who cannot be dismissed. Look at the damage him and his ilk have done already

norose4 Mon 17-Jul-17 10:01:36

Exactly Whitewave, he is a megalomaniac who doesn't care about how his actions affect people & their lives, he swept people along on a tide of patronism with his parting shot ' I've done my bit I'm off to the pub' a very dangerous man. I was shouted down by family & friends when I tried to point it out before the vote, sadly we are now seeing the carnage he has created gradually unfolding

As a MEP Farage is still pocketing his €8,213.02 a month salary (€98,556 /£83,959 pa) plus expenses. The irony is that thanks to the plunging pound, he's effectively received a £8,938 pay rise since the Brexit vote.

Farage is also one of the biggest skivers from attending parliamentary sessions. He is ranked 746th out of 751 MEPs when it comes to voting on anything.

So he's doing very nicely thank you.

Jaycee5 Mon 17-Jul-17 10:19:50

I'm not sure that he had that many followers. UKIP had 4 million voters and they weren't all supporters of Farage. 17 million plus voted for Brexit so Farage was not a big factor for many and I am sure that many dislike him as much as Remain voters. The less seen of him the better but as Cleopatra Soup says, he is doing very well out of taking money for nothing as an MEP.

He was at the men's singles final at Wimbledon yesterday, I reda. So glad I didn't see him on the TV - bad for my blood pressure. Anyone know who the current UKIP leader is?
