It is not given to me to start a threads on politics, I don't believe I have ever contributed to one either.
However I cannot let pass the comment from a conservative councillor currently skiing in the USA who wants the homeless and rough sleepers cleared from the streets of
Windsor before the wedding in May.
God forbid that visitors here to see an obscene and ostentatious picture of wealth and privelage should be confronted by the "have nots" of our society.

Not quite sure- but is there anyone here actually supporting UKIP ?

Bridgeit Sun 14-Jan-18 12:59:01

I'm definitely not, don't know how NF sleeps at night!!

whitewave Sun 14-Jan-18 13:02:26

Thanks for all the information mary worth knowing especially tax dodging.

jura not sure if you were around during the referendum, but we had some very shouty UKIP supporters that came onto GN and disappeared again just as quickly. They were clearly being directed by HO though as they had access to loads of stuff.

whitewave Sun 14-Jan-18 13:03:39

The sad thing was that some posters were taken in by them.

jura2 Sun 14-Jan-18 13:18:02

WW I am not talking about them - but about those here now who seems to excuse them somehow?

Anniebach Sun 14-Jan-18 13:25:21

Maryeliza, I did not say posting the truth was a desire to rule threads, I was referring to your post ' you are taken to task for missing out etc. I did not miss out,I explained several times it was not mentioned in the news headlines read before the news in details. You may disagree with me and I with you, but a warning taken to task is rather bossy and controlling, in my opinion

maryeliza54 Sun 14-Jan-18 13:31:16

FFS ab will you stop implying I’m a liar - there’s only one person posting COMPLETELY FALSE information about the BBC news headlines and that’s YOU.

maryeliza54 Sun 14-Jan-18 13:32:25

You not hearing does not equal it not being said - any chance you could acknowledge that? Thought not

maryeliza54 Sun 14-Jan-18 13:37:23

jura well there’s one poster on here who is so busy spreading false information and making personal attacks that she clearly has no time to make it clear what she thinks of UKIP

maryeliza54 Sun 14-Jan-18 13:44:58

It’s hard to know in some cases when one poster posts the full story about that dreadful women and her partner and it’s then implied by another poster that’s shes lying about how the news was reported and just wants to dominate posts. I suppose probably the second poster has let personal animosity get in the way of condemning what was texted

whitewave Sun 14-Jan-18 13:47:29

jura I think that what happens is that some people are so keen to prove their argument re Brexit that they will side with UKIP posts without any real thought as to what they are supporting.

But the point is there are no UKIP posters as far as I am aware as the moment, but rest assured if Brexit comes under threat they will pop up like bad smells.

Anniebach Sun 14-Jan-18 13:59:45

I did not accuse you of lying .Maryeliza, I have stuck to the fact that in the news headlines before reading the news no name or connection with the UKIP leader had been mentioned . It was you who claimed it was , this seems you are accusing me of lying does it not?

As for dominating posts, mmmmmm.

Anniebach Sun 14-Jan-18 14:02:01

I have made my views on UKIP clear often on this forum , have not changed my views.

maryeliza54 Sun 14-Jan-18 14:07:07

FFS ab - go onto BBC IPlayer - listen to the news headlines for 6, 7,8 and 9 o’clock. Yes you are bloody well accusing me of lying - I’m certainly accusing you of being so bloody minded towards me that your default position is to be totally incapable of believing I could be right - didn’t it cross your mind that I wouldn’t have carried on repeating the FACTS if I hadn’t checked them first? And if denying implicit accusations of lying on several posts is dominating a thread, then if you werent being so obdurate,I wouldn’t have to keep posting would I?

whitewave Sun 14-Jan-18 14:11:03

annie I am unaware that you have ever supported a UKIP type post. My post wasn’t directed at anyone in particular.

Anniebach Sun 14-Jan-18 14:12:26

whitewave , I was replying to another poster not you

jura2 Sun 14-Jan-18 14:19:27

Do re-read my post - I never accused anyone of being a UKIP member, but to seem to be excusing them in the inexcusable.

whitewave Sun 14-Jan-18 14:20:52

jura I think we are in total agreement but saying it in different wayssmile

maryeliza54 Sun 14-Jan-18 14:35:22

Well ab at the terrible risk of dominating the thread and being bossy and controlling by telling you what to do, might I suggest you read my posts again? The point I was making is that you had the time to repeat false information but not to condemn the racist texts which are beyond disgusting and have not yet been condemned (so far as I know) by the womans partner aka the UKIP leader. Just saying

Anniebach Sun 14-Jan-18 15:35:56

Suggest as much as you need to maryeliza, I will do as I think is right.

maryeliza54 Sun 14-Jan-18 15:41:18

Well carry on posting false information and implying I’m a liar - it demonstrates ALL I need to know about you . If what you’ve done on this thread is what you think is right, then you have a very warped idea of what is right and I ( and maybe some of the silent posters) will judge future contributions from you in the knowledge of what you’ve said on this thread. It’s ckearly not worth discussing this any further but your posts on here have been a disgrace.

eazybee Sun 14-Jan-18 15:54:36

Maryliza, will you please stop using 'FFS'.
Using initials doesn't stop it being offensive.

whitewave Sun 14-Jan-18 15:57:26

Don’t forget that Bolton’s girl friend has tweeted many racists remarks prior to the latest and UKIP was fine with that.

That have got annoyed this time because it involved 5he Royal family

maryeliza54 Sun 14-Jan-18 16:03:53

eaztbee hummmm let’s think - continually repeating false information; implying someone is a liar or using ffs - what shall I criticise as offensive? Hahahahaha FFS
