Sorry the Few
Farage fails to report 5 million gift!
Why doesn't Starmer hold another referendum?
Sorry the Few
For the many, not the Jew?
Used by Jews to highlight the anti-semitism in the Labour Party and you think that's anti-semitic.
Yet you've critiqued a mural that draws on tropes from the Protocols of the Elders of Zion saying it's OK.
And you understand anti-semitism.
What do you expect me to say? I disagree, and think you don't understand anti-semitism.
Ninny is not being antisemitic. I too saw that poster on last night's news, scrawled in large lettering, on the back of a piece of card torn from a cardboard box, with those words on it being held up by someone in the Corbyn support group in Parliament Square. I still feel very angry that others in that support group stood by and let it be raised.
Tory MP for Harrow East - Bob Blackman has been slammed by the Muslim Council of Britain for sharing a vile anti-Muslim website on Facebook. When found out he deleted it, but it isn’t the first time he has shared vile racist rhetoric, like retweeting the output of such people as Tommy Robinson of the EDL.
Message deleted by Gransnet.
Andy McDonald and David Baddiel were interesting on the Daily Politics, I thought. A clear message too for people who say this is just a smear - you're wrong. It was good that he used clear and unambiguous language.
you understand it so well that you accused me of being anti-Semitic!!
Where?
It’s been deleted because you accused me of being anti-Semitic
Our illustrious Foreign Secretary is not only racist in huis remarks, but he has now received a rebuke from speaker because he is also sexist.
You reported the post ww but you were not mentioned in it. I have a copy of what I wrote in the email I received from GN. I mentioned 2 posters, quite specifically, a pair. Their names were in bold. My post was extremely clear.
I'm very happy to post a picture showing exactly what I wrote. You are wrong. I did not call you anti-semitic at all.
Any chance of an apology?
Mehdi Hasan
“You can agree that anti-semtism is a problem in some parts of the left and needs to be loudly denounced, whilst also agreeing the Corbyn political apponents are cynically using it as a stick with which to beat him”
And that makes your understanding the concept of anti-semitism clearer?
I think not
So are there no Jewish members of the Labour Party Primrose65? Of course there are. To say a political party is not for a particular race or religion is being discriminatory. It is therefore anti-semitic.
If it was held up by a Labour Party member then that was completely unacceptable, just as the using it on social media is unacceptable. There are Jewish socialists and there always have been.
Any chance of an apology ww. I'm pretty upset that you've made a personal attack on me that's unfounded.
Overegging the pudding there a bit primrose
Perhaps we could start with you apologising to the two posters you accused of being anti-Semitic then I can give consideration to my apology.
I'm not apologising for my opinion.
I'm asking for an apology for a personal attack that is not based on the truth.
I think you're being intentionally aggressive by lying about me and you're trying to belittle me by negotiating an apology.
As you wish. I’ve already told you in a previous post that I do not take part in games.
I'm not apologising for my opinion.
Every racist could say that Primrose (no I am not calling you a racist). Your post was deleted because it was a direct personal attack towards individuals.
Dear oh dear.
Corbychev's hard left here are REALLY grasping at straws to support him.
Everyone but Corbyn and the Labour Party is to blame for the filthy mess they find themselves in. It's getting desperate.
Primrose65 as far as any censorship of art goes you know my views it is never acceptable and it is only used by authoritarian regimes who fear that art is subversive. Art has often been used to make political points and has a valuable roll to play, inspiring controversy and discussion.
Your post was deleted because it was a direct personal attack towards individuals.
Yes it was. Because they held opinions I thought were extreme. I felt provoked and I said what I thought. It was deleted and that's fair enough. Why is this now being used to attack me through a lie? It's ridiculous.
Anti-semitism like racism, is not something people come out loud and proud about . It is hidden, like a sewer and it seeps out through little crannies and cracks, safe places, private emails, occasional comments.
All the accusations about Labour are about anti-semitism, not racism and only occasionally, sexism. The reason is that, generally speaking, Labour is not racist nor that mysogenist, or at least no more than average, not that that is much to defend
There have not been all these criticisms of anti semitism in any of the other parties, big, small or local. On the rare occasions it occurs it is usually very person specific. And do not tell me that Labour has not been burrowing away desperately trying to find it.
That leads to one conclusion, Jeremy Corbyn keeps popping up and down like rabbit denying he and his party are anti-semitic, because the evidence is there to prove it is.
Oh dear.
Complaint about Andy McDonald and his appearance on Sky News on Sunday.

I think the antisemitism training at Labour needs to be rolled out very quickly. MPs are appearing on TV to talk about antisemitism and defend their colleagues, whilst not having clarity on how their language can be anti-semitic. I imagine this will be the first of many and I would not be surprised if every letter of complaint is made public.
I have never personally and at first hand heard individuals, Labour or otherwise, making racist remarks about Jewish people. I have heard people opposing Israel's position in relation to Palestinian people, but that is political opposition and no more racist than opposing what Saudi Arabia is doing in relation to the Yemeni people.
I expect most of us have heard racist remarks being made about black and Asian people, Muslims, gypsies, east europeans, etc. etc. etc. I've even read them on Gransnet. I'd be very surpised if the average person in the street has heard similar insults addressed to and used about Jewish people.
I have heard about certain football team supporters singing songs such as "I'd rather be a Paki than a Jew" - which is racist and insulting to both Asian and Jewish people.
The song that refers specifically to the murder of Jewish people by the Nazis - "Dashing through the Reich in a black Mercedes Benz killing lots of kike......". was reported as being sung by student members of the Oxford Conservative Association. When such behaviour from Conservative MPs, councillors and supporters has been reported, I don't recall every media outlet proclaiming that the Conservative party has a problem with anti-semitism. I also don't recall hoards of Jewish people demonstrating with placards about anti-semitism in the Conservative Party.
If people accused of making inflammatory and racist comments are identified, presumably they can be prosecuted. If they can't be identified, then we don't know what their political leanings are or what their motivation is.
