I don't think it was fair to target his children but they don't really seem like ordinary folk do they?

Anniebach Wed 12-Sept-18 21:09:14

How much longer can I stay with this party run by racists and thugs

Jalima1108 Wed 12-Sept-18 21:12:32

I don't think that even his cronies approve of what he did anyway.
Perhaps there is some decency there.

However, Mr Bone was not put off and went on to accuse Ms Crook of having 'Stockholm syndrome' because she wouldn't reveal her salary.

He does sound rather unhinged - that is opinion only.

Anniebach Wed 12-Sept-18 21:16:18

I certaintly express my disapproval of his actions in relation to the children, nanny, Mrs JRM and JRM , there can be no excuse for this.

Chewbacca Wed 12-Sept-18 21:17:33

"^Jeremy Corbyn has called for an end to "personal abuse" in his first speech to the Labour Party^ Conference as leader.
Mr Corbyn urged delegates to "treat people with respect" and said there would be "no rudeness ^from me".
"Cut out the personal abuse, cut out the cyber-bullying and especially the misogynistic abuse online and let's get on with bringing real values back into politics", he said.

JC speech, 29th September 2015

What JRM would bring to the office of PM for me is just the fact that I trust him - he is not a weasel like Cameron or May or Blair or Brown or (God forbid), Corbyn.
I am not Catholic but I admire him for sticking by his faith - he is well aware that his beliefs are not society's beliefs and that they would never be the law in this country. But he is prepared to state them anyway. He is an eloquent speaker and many really 'working class' voters find him trustworthy, from what I've picked up on social media comments. I did win bets on Leave and Trump winning so I like to think I read these things accurately. ?

Beau Wed 12-Sept-18 21:22:54

Thanks POGS - yes, Peter Bone is always popping up on my Leave means Leave pages, I meant Ian Bone but I was rushing, sorry - I knew it didn't sound right ?

Chewbacca Wed 12-Sept-18 21:23:44

He (Ian Bone) is friends with Jeremy Corbyn's brother Piers and once boasted that a
senior figure in the Labour leader's office - Andrew Fisher - is a supporter of their group.

The 71-year-old became infamous for publishing Class War - which used the headline
"another f***ing royal parasite" after Prince William was born.

Piers? Very left wing, working class name is Piers.

Jalima1108 Wed 12-Sept-18 21:26:31

Piers - that's a name to reckon with!

(oh, sorry, wrong Piers grin)

Jalima1108 Wed 12-Sept-18 21:26:51

I still like Sebastian though ...

Anniebach Wed 12-Sept-18 21:34:04

One of Corbyn’ s son is called Seb, could this be Sebastian ?

Anniebach Wed 12-Sept-18 21:34:26

Ooops, sorry Jalima

Anniebach Wed 12-Sept-18 21:37:56

Corbyn and JRM have sons named Thomas

TerriBull Wed 12-Sept-18 22:22:32

Thank you Jalima, one of my sons has Sebastian as a middle name, well I like it even if he doesn't sad Could have been worse, it was nearly a first name, until my husband said "you can't saddle him with that to go through life"grin

bmacca Wed 12-Sept-18 22:59:40

I think this, from Ian Lavery MP, sums up how most people feel:
“Tonight, I rang Jacob Rees-Mogg.

In terms of upbringing, background and politics - we’re polar opposites.

I certainly don’t remember him working alongside me at the pit!

However, NO politician’s family or children should ever be targeted under ANY circumstances. Politics aside this abhorrent behaviour, perpetrated by an individual who has also attacked the Labour Party, should never be acceptable in our society”

bmacca Wed 12-Sept-18 23:11:03

Although it wasn’t long ago that a Guardian journalist was singing his praises!

I have a grandson called Sebastian! in fact most of my dgc have names that some people might consider posh.

Anniebach Thu 13-Sept-18 08:54:31

To bring up his children’s names is doing a ‘katie Hopkins’ , there was outcry when she said she judged people by the names of their children.

This bullying started with the rise of Corbyn/Momentum power.

oldbatty Thu 13-Sept-18 09:33:47

I'm not sure how you can be really working class.

Oldwoman70 Thu 13-Sept-18 09:39:41

If you have had to work in order to live - you are working class as far as I am concerned

MaizieD Thu 13-Sept-18 10:06:22

^he (Ian Bone) is friends with Jeremy Corbyn's brother Piers and once boasted that a
senior figure in the Labour leader's office - Andrew Fisher - is a supporter of their group.^

And:

The principal harasser of Jacob Rees-Mogg’s family and children outside his home yesterday was Ian Bone of an organisation called Class War. He has considerable links to Corbyn’s Labour Party.

Can I ask you, Chewbacca and Jalima what the source is for these unattributed gossip snippets?

MaizieD Thu 13-Sept-18 10:07:06

Sorry, first quote should have been formatted too...

maryeliza54 Thu 13-Sept-18 10:19:01

Well asked MD. I read on Twitter that JC was once at the same wedding as IB - bloody hell, I’ve been at the same wedding as people I wouldn’t pass the time of day with.

maryeliza54 Thu 13-Sept-18 10:21:13

And I believe that Johnson is BFF with the far right SB - oh and that yesterday Tory MEPs voted in support of the anti Semitic Hungarian Government( but sadly TM wasn’t consulted before they did so - yeah right)

Anniebach Thu 13-Sept-18 10:23:07

Corbyn was as the wreath laying ceremony to terrorists but didn’t know if he was involved !

MaizieD Thu 13-Sept-18 11:36:10

Well, there you go, Ab. Guilt by association proves anything you like, doesn't it?
