Nobody likes change. It was voted by the people in a democratic way and it's a pity that the Remainers didn't accept it. We could have had a great deal if they had not opposed everything. They should have put their views over and be prepared to compromise whilst backing the Leader. Most of the politicians are in it for themselves but I feel that TM is the most likely one to look after all the people - the poor as well as the rich. Her heart is in the right place. Well done TM for sticking it out even after all the nasty things that have been said. Let's give her a break.

I'm a big fan of TM. The temptation to just walk away must have been almost irresistible at times. She's stuck through humiliation with EU leaders and being stabbed in the back and front by her own party. She voted remain but put her all into trying to do what was voted for democratically. Whatever happens she's done her very best and I for one appreciate her. She's easily the best of a very bad lot.

I just answered a YouGov poll, and the result was that 41% of those polled think that we will have an agreement with the EU over Brexit and 41% think that there is no chance at all that we will leave the EU with an agreement. Says it all, really!

Like others, I feel very sorry for TM. She never wanted to leave the EU and ended up with sorting this mess out when the lily livered Cameron the worm chickened out of it. She's never given up on trying to sort out a deal that will satisfy all the opposing sides, even though she's had to deal with the likes of Boris at al, who has regularly stabbed her in the back. The woman is a saint to have stayed so long.
As for Christine Hamilton... wouldn't trust her, or her slimy husband, as far as I could throw 'em.

I wouldn't want TM's job for all the tea in China and I don't think anyone waiting in the wings wants to take over ..........just yet. She must be facing sleepless nights. I blame Cameron for this unholy mess. It has been a disaster from start to finish. I voted stay, unlike DH who should be PM as he seems to know all the answers.

The media seem to be the only ones enjoying this debacle. Poor old TM.

I agree with those of you who support TM for her tenacity, strength of character and the B***s to stand up to the bullies both here and in the EU. I think EU is giving her a real hard time as they are afraid if the rest of the countries see us come out with a good deal they will all start considering the same move. David Cameron fled when the going got tough, and Nigel Farage who was an advocate of leaving EU now works as a radio presenter, why isnt he there supporting TM in the back groud instead of slating her which he di on his program yesterday evening!!! They use to say women are weak, but i think the men now are just cowards.!!!

Well, from the time of stating that he did not realise how important the port of Dover was to the UK economy , I think Dominic Raabs position became untenable.

That statement very much demonstrated how "out of touch" the whole Brexit campaign has been against the true position modern Britain is in with regard to cross border trade.

I hardly ever make political predictions, and I may very well be wrong here, but I predict that if the Moggites challenge TM's leadership, and that goes to a vote of Tory MP's, I think she will win.

There are three factions amongst Tory MPs - Moggites (swivel-eyed ultra brexiters at all costs), TM loyalists (who may be looking to advance their careers) and Remainers (who will reject any brexit but not vote against TM).

She would survive, and carry on regardless, but at some point she would have to ensure that we did not jump off that cliff of a no-deal brexit.

It does not matter how many times she has said she would not allow a People's Vote under any circumstances, if that is what Parliament votes for, it will happen.

I am leave, but I blame David Cameron for not thinking through the referendum and having a “leave plan” in place even at a basic level.

It was an ill advised referendum and he ran for the hills when it did not go his way.

GrannyGravy13 -although you are a Leaver and I am a Remainer, I totally agree with your view of David Cameron, who will go down in history as the worst leader this country has ever had, who thoughtlessly propelled us into this potential disaster.
