We own a modest business by working a dam sight harder than Corbyn and I agree I don’t know why self employed person who wants him.

Exactly Grany. The policies are far from anything unusual. The idea of Corbyn being a bogeyman is just for Tory's useful idiots, who end up acting for a cause whose aims they do not understand.

The more I hear about these small businesses, whose owners seem to have done reasonably well but who seem to have been "struggling" for some years, the more I wonder if they are just not viable. You really can't blame governments for how the market works against you if that is the government you voted in.

Our business has been going for over 40years - you can bet your life it's as you put it viable!!!!

We are employers, and extremely well respected in our field. None of which guarantees that there will not be lean years!!!!

Corbyn should have stayed being a "political activist/protester" he would sell this country up the swanny!!

He is far to much of a pacifist to command any respect from foreign leaders, other than Hamas, IRA (new and old) or any other anti establishment or dare I say terrorist organisation.

It's interesting that Corbyn's supporters always assume it's personal. He's a national politician, not some kindly old grandad. And he's crap at politics. He'll sink the Labour party with his Brexit fudge. He's totally fair game for criticism.

Good Corbyn is a pacifist we don't want a leader like Dodgy Dave Cameron and May selling arms to Saudi Arabia to kill Yemenis which incidentally her husband profits from. Jeremy Corbyn and his team are intelligent hardworking not like the clowns in the Tory government. Give me a peacemaker anytime, time for change and peace a better world is possible.

Grany unfortunately the world does not work like that. For the UK not to be armed and ready would leave us extremely vulnerable. Especially whilst Putin is at the helm in Russia.

Sorry I cannot agree with the fact that Corbyn et al are intelligent you only have to watch Diane Abbott and that theory is blown out of the water.

I did say “my” council tax not my business council tax / rates maryeliza. Yes we have struggled for many years and have never really recovered from the financial crash of 2008 when 2 of our biggest customers went bust owing us 10’s of thousands £s ! Selling all of our personal assets in order to pay debts and secure jobs , felt like the right and decent thing to do at the time but ( with the power of hindsight) obviously wasn’t . The point I was trying to make is that our labour controlled council persecute businesses and see us as cash cows to keep their overpaid executives in the manner to which they are all very accustomed !
