Footage showing British soldiers shooting at a large photograph of Jeremy Corbyn as target practice. I hope TM and the Defence Secretary stand up in the House today and condemn it thoroughly.

Jalima - your post states "I believe that a shooting range chose to have a photo of Shamima Begum as their target, along with images of Osama Bin Laden, Adolf Hitler and Margaret Thatcher.
Apparently it is just light-hearted fun including for children - would you believe."

What part have I taken out of context and twisted around? It DOES sound like you disapprove of Hitler's image being used as a target, otherwise why would you even mention it? I also lost relatives in WW2, and my father fought in North Africa and Italy. I see nothing wrong in using Hitler's face as a shooting target for soldiers, as I'm sure millions of soldiers would have done in WW2. What I do disagree with, however, is taking children to a shooting range in the first place. If that was your original point, and I misunderstood, then I apologise.

I agree with Eleothan It's one thing if a group of random people perpetrate such acts, like the Margaret Thatcher things.. It's quite another for members of the British Army to do so and unacceptable.

I just wish this issue was not, as it has become, about Corbyn.
IMHO, using members of Parliament WHICHEVER party they represent, as legitimate targets in a Government, MoD training exercise, is plainly wrong. As the MoD appear to think also.
Regardless of my political affiliation, I don't wish to see either May or Corbyn, or their supporters being attacked, abused, or worse, because some idiots feel they have been given licence to be abusive. And there are enough idiots around to make this a possibility.
