Since T May now intends to put the WA back to Parliament the first week in June, whoever gets to be EU MEP’s probably won’t be able to get their feet under the EU table.

No one in their right mind wants TMs deal (International Treaty) only Mrs May its not Brexit.
They won't revoke Article 50 they would be finished as a political party and so would Labour if they agreed with it. We are not a banana Republic you can't just cancel a democratic vote by 17.5 million people.

Lemongrove - it is not the will of the majority in the UK. It is the will of a slight majority of those who voted. There is a huge difference. The majority was less than 4% of the total population. Obviously I'm aware that a percentage of the population are too young to vote but we have to think of them.

Firecracker 123 - for pity's sake, please stop trotting out that old chestnut about 17.5 million people. If you paired the Remain voters with the Leave voters (as the MPs are paired in Parliament) then this country is being effectively held to ransom by less than 2 million people. That is not democracy.

It was the will of a slight majority of those who voted three years ago and since then they are the people who have been calling all the shots. TM has been surrounded by people like her press secretary (who wrote the disgraceful "enemies of the people" headline when he was working for the Daily Mail.

It is time to move on, admit that a bad mistake was made, that TM has done her best and has demonstrated conclusively that there is no achievable brexit deal which would not damage the country. The best deal is what we have so let's just wake up and STOP BREXIT .

Since the referendum results gave the larger share of votes to Leave, then that is the result, whatever semantics you employ to weasel out of it.
We will be leaving the EU, it all revolves on what sort of deal we will be leaving with.

varian our totally useless Prime Minister promised on numerous occasions that the UK would definitely be leaving on the 29th March.

Is it any wonder why the Brexit Party is picking up votes left right and centre (mine was a protest vote).

We are at the stage whereby not one politician in this country can be trusted, they have all repeatedly changed their views, denied having said things only to be found out when video evidence is revealed.

I have no idea where the UK will go from here.

Lemongrove - this is a slightly different question but supposing you had a grandchild who tried to get into a particular school or college but didn't quite make it. Wouldn't you or your own children try to reverse the decision if you thought it was wrong?

GG13 - most of us change our minds regularly so why shouldn't the politicians, especially if they've had time to think.

There are over 60 million in the population, so to pretend that the whole country wants a certain outcome is ridiculous, the reason why we are in this mess is that the country is divided. Maybe better to recognise that division than to pretend everyone is in agreement?

Conservative and Labour in the last General Election stood on the promise that they would honour the Referendum result, (a once in a generation vote we were told by the then PM Cameron and they would implement the result and they voted to trigger Article 50 which said we would leave on the 29th March with or Without a deal) they can't just change their minds and do whatever they want they are servants of the people, voted in by us and paid by us through our taxes.

I am beginning to think, MaizieD that politicians are the last people we should get information from. I wonder if there's an organisation that backs bringing in Citizens Assemblies? Get the facts first and the listen to the politicians?

I agree, GGMK3. We really should fact check what they say but few people bother to do that. We're in a strange situation where people take what they say at face value but at the same time there is a general perception that they are not to be trusted. How does that help voters to make good choices?

I still think that it's amazing that we expect adverts to be truthful, and regulate to try to ensure that they are, but politicians can lie with impunity.
