Well portrayals of the rich & famous in the media are rarely to be trusted I find. Especially this Kate/Meghan feud nonsense. That sort of thing exists mainly in the imaginations of newspapers trying to sell more copy. I only buy my local paper these days. All the obits and all the jumble sales.

One thing all women know is some men are, to put it mildly, not safe in taxis. If lots of women all say the same thing I know who I believe.

No, Annie, more than one but only two have gone public as others are terrified by the NDAs. VG has been the most vocal though. There were more accusations concerning PA when Epstein was originally convicted but were thrown out as irrelevant. Remember these were largely uneducated and poor teenagers (and all blonde, even a pattern in their looks as well as their powerlessness).
I read all the original stuff in the Miami Herald. Very brave reporting from a woman who was repeatedly threatened.

...also worth remembering that although 17 is above the age of consent in the UK, it's below the age of consent in most of the US and taking a girl out of state for the purposes of sex is called statutory rape. We'd call it trafficking.

...another word on Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). They were originally to stop people using commercial information learned in one company to benefit another when they moved jobs. Didn't take long for rich and powerful people to use them to cover up criminal acts.

For goodness sake . they are all at it; if you look at the history of the royal family they have all had mistresses, illegitimate children , other families. David Cameron is descended from William iv and Dorothea Jordan. an actress from Dublin. They lived in unmarried,domestic bliss for years, there are a huge number of people decsnded from them. He only left her when he was told that he had to marry as George iv had no issue . Most of the aristocracy /upper classes are descended illegitimately from kings .

They were from poor and often chaotic families, alcohol & drug abuse, parents in prison. This is how abusers operate whether in Dade County or Doncaster. Ghislaine Maxwell was not a friend of the family. She scouted for girls in her car. She offered them 'work'.

...and unfortunately (although as far as I know no murders happened) a woman in a car is less threatening...think Rose & Fred West, Myra Hindley & Ian Brady, Ghislaine Maxwell enabled abuse to happen and is also accused of abuse herself.

This is all fact Anniebach. I've been following the case for a long time and have read reams and reams. It's possible to read court documents online. Far easier to read US stuff than UK stuff in fact.

PA should have known better, especially after his friend Epstein had served a term in prison for paedophilia. I wonder whether the powers that be in the royal establishment didn't warn him at the time?

I don't have one handy link that has a short readable precis. Go to the Miami Herald first (you need to read the last eleven years of all this) and then google for court documents, particularly Dade County. I looked at all this over a long time because I've been there, done that, got the PTSD (and no conviction or even a charge). I didn't look closely at this to inform others and provide them with handy links. I did my own research and wanted to see justice done in a sort of vicarious way to ease my own sense of injustice about something that happened here in the UK to me when I was much much younger. Epstein killing himself was like a punch in the guts. God knows how much worse it is for his victims.
