pinkquartz Mon 09-Dec-19 18:00:13

Opal
it is a joke about the Uncaring Tory party in case that flew over your head.
Tory voters so up themselves it is incredible.! angry

Opal Mon 09-Dec-19 18:01:05

pinkquartz I don't have a clue why you support a party that supports terrorists, you are a Corbynite therefore you don't care about the ordinary working class people in this country. You would vote for a Government that would screw the economy, and then no-one would prosper. No thank you....

pinkquartz Mon 09-Dec-19 18:42:18

Opal

I AM NOT a Labour supporter.

Where do you stand on free bus passes ?

pinkquartz Mon 09-Dec-19 18:44:37

Opal I am insulted to be told I am supporting a party that supports Labour.
You really are talking rubbish and being insulting too.

Boris Johnson as PM has a dystopian ring to it. He will go down in history as the worse PM in our history to date. The worse thing about it is the British people asked for it. Tolstoy said in War and Peace that war is never caused by one single thing; it is always a combination of facts and situations. In this situation there are again various factors eg. Jeremy Corbyn’s refusal to resign despite so many refusing to vote for him, the Lib/Dems selecting an inappropriate leader, the media (Daily Mail eg al) determined to support the lies told in the run up to the referendum, fear of immigration, a dissatisfaction with the government and a desire to hit back etc etc. Hesletine said it all in a magnificent speech a couple of days ago when his emotion and sorrow was so apparent when he said he could not vote Conservative after devoting his long political life to it.

crystaltipps Mon 09-Dec-19 20:57:55

Why is that anyone who criticises the scumbag Johnson is assumed to be a Corbyn supporter? No thanks to either of them.

Perhaps you can explain then why Leeds Hospital have apologised Grannyhall29
www.leeds-live.co.uk/news/leeds-news/lgi-bosses-apologise-after-four-17385357
I think you need to apologise for that post.

SirChenjin Mon 09-Dec-19 22:28:34

Where has that been announced Granny?

I wonder if it was the same place which showed that the Tories lied about Matt Hancock’s advisor being hit in the face by a Labour activist to detract from BJs reaction to the photo? Probably not.

Yehbutnobut Mon 09-Dec-19 22:30:50

Grannyhall that is simply NOT true. I agree you need to apologise for that slander.

What on earth is the world coming to when old ladies spread fake news. I’m shocked ???

Apparently, the boy did have a bed in the treatment cubicle, but it was needed for another patient. The bed was taken away and the boy was left with his mother in the cubicle with two chairs. the boy was tired and wanted sleep/lie down, so the mother put some coats on the floor and made a makeshift bed.

The hospital has issued an apology.

I think the posters who claimed the photo was a fake need to issue an apology too.

Let’s just say it - Johnson, Corbyn. Swinson are all unfit to be Prime Minister. The best thing would be if they all lost their seats.

Shelmiss Tue 10-Dec-19 06:21:40

I second that thought crystaltipps. None of them are fit to be in charge. And that’s what I think politics is lacking, someone who at least appears to have an ounce of integrity.

Whitewavemark2 Tue 10-Dec-19 06:36:26

This is what media manipulation looks like. None of the stories are remotely true.

Bad day for BJ yesterday, plenty more aggro to come, when/if he wins the election there is a great deal of uncertainty to come. Getting an emotional Brexit done is one thing, the reality of negotiating new trade deals is quite another.

Whitewavemark2 Tue 10-Dec-19 07:55:16

Media manipulation.

What the press are calling sock puppets are being put out by CCHQ.

Yesterday hundreds of exactly the same message but all supposedly by different people put out the message that the Jack’s experience was staged.

Totally untrue and lies.

We need to get a grip of this or everything becomes an absolute mockery.

Grandad1943 Tue 10-Dec-19 09:03:57

Let's face it, all of Britain witnessed the true character of Johnson yesterday. He is a person full of his own self-entitlement and does care about anything that does not fit in with that absolute cause.

The incident with regard to the child at Leeds Hospital certainly did not fit with the above as we are all aware that through austerity the Tories have spent the last nine years bringing the public services (especially the NHS) to the desperately low levels that we all see now.

To avoid seeing that the truth in that reality, Johnson was even prepared to steal a reporters phone who wished to bring the matter of the child at the Leeds hospital to Johnson's attention. However, in his one action, Johnson demonstrated to all of the electorate just how despicable he truly is.

And some would still wish to see this "self-serving, unstable" excuse for a human being lead this country.

Anniebach Tue 10-Dec-19 09:09:17

The mother took the photograph of her child and gave it to
The Daily Mirror ?

Johnson's greatest achievement is to have made Jeremy Corbyn look like a statesman.

lemongrove Tue 10-Dec-19 09:24:50

We have to vote for one of them crystal it’s all that’s on offer.

lemongrove Tue 10-Dec-19 09:26:47

Hopefully we will all vote for whichever Party we think will do best for the UK, both at home and in the world.

SirChenjin Tue 10-Dec-19 09:32:54

You absolutely don’t have to vote for one of them lemon - where do the voting rules say that?

Excellent post Grandad1943. Johnson revealed himself for the weak character he is yesterday. He’s completely unfit to take the UK forward over the next 5 difficult years. The slightest whiff of a challenging conversation and he simply caves. Taking a phone off a reporter out of camera shot is reminiscent of something Trump would do - bullying, brash, cowardly behaviour.

Whitewavemark2 Tue 10-Dec-19 09:47:36

Another reason why Johnson is totally unfit for office
