notanan2 of course the oncept that Labour bancrupted the country has been sold to the public. It's a much simpler concept than the involved processes of international banking and the effect of subprime lending which caused the whole thing During the ensuing financial crisis of 2007–08 (also called the subprime mortgage crisis), nearly all lending froze in the United States, crippling the U.S. economy as well as the economies of countries in western Europe and elsewhere.
Quite how the Labour party caused the US market to crash I don't know.
