Following people on social media with whom one disagrees is actually quite a good idea. It prevents you from forming opinions in a bubble and you're more likely to get both sides (or multiple angles) of an issue. I suppose if one's opinions are already formed that wouldn't work.

I haven't made any such assertions about you I did ask if perhaps "take the day off" constituted a euphemism for "fuck off" as it seems rather a strange and quaintly old fashioned expression. I could if I wished report all of your unreasonable personal attacks and have them removed but I won't. How do you explain all the press criticism aimed at the other female members of the RF in the past? Camilla and Fergie especially, although Kate was also vilified at one point. Was their skin colour the cause then? I don't think so. So please explain what the difference is between them being roasted in the press and MM.

Chestnut I think I did say that mysogyny and racism often go hand in hand and that the MSM is in the hands of powerful white men who use both. it means that of course other women are targeted but that women of colour present a double target.Neither of these things is acceptable but unfortunately both seem to flourish on GN.

Chestnut No I don’t believe the press have been racist toward MM. Maybe others have on social media etc. I also don’t believe the reason for her and Harry’s departure was down to negative press. It’s a convenient excuse in my opinion.

Exactly Anniebach but this is the core of the whole argument, those who say that any criticism of MM has a racist undertone. Most of us know it is because of her behaviour that the press has turned on her, nothing to do with her race.
