To go back a bit, Jabberwok - you say that Ian Blackford did the same thing. As growstuff pointed out, no he didn't. However, if the Minister for the Eighteenth Century Jacob Rees-Mogg gets his way and the virtual Parliament is cancelled, there are going to have to be an awful lot of MPs doing an awful lot of travelling. Of course, they could then stay in London, which robs most of them of a family life and the ability to visit their constituencies. I suppose they'll just have to do that or else invoke the Cummings let-out and keep travelling.
