Over the Russia report

Tory corruption

No protection for the NHS

No protection for our food standards

No Parliamentary scrutiny of any trade deal.

I’m sure some must think it’s all excellent?

I would consider myself far left in many of my political views. However, this Conservative government has carried out far-left actions by way of paying the wages and salaries of nearly ten million furloughed workers for over for months now.

Other countries have carried out similar to the above, but the fact that such action came from a Tory government in Britain was remarkable to say the least.

As a affiliated member of the Labour Party making monthly subscriptions to that body, I still applaud what this government has done, for that is true far left socialist action.

I do not expect this Tory government to continue in the same manner over throughout the next four years, but I will gladly accept true socialist policies wherever they may come from.

Grandad perhaps your age is getting to you (wink) My FIL was Labour all his life until Thatcher came upon the scene and he thought she was wonderful. Wouldn't hear a word said against her. And his father was a Socialist - an alderman and Sheriff of Nottingham.

Grandad that’s not far left!! It is Keynesian economics.

Neither is it remarkable. They had absolutely no choice in the matter.
