I didn't think OP was clutching any pearls. He was just wondering about the wisdom of posting a picture of your child on the web. I know that people do it all the time, but sometimes those pictures get very badly misused; like, photoshopped into child porn, and it may come back to haunt the original for a long time...

I thought it was a nice natural looking picture of a pretty little girl and nothing to get upset about.

I, too, was thinking about JonJo Bennet; I saw the documentary abut the child 'beauty pageants in which she featured not long before she was murdered. It was vile stuff... Not at all comparable with this picture.

I'm sure the Beckhams are well aware of the dangers of putting photos of children on the internet.

Every photo I've seen of the Beckham clan shows a happy family with kids who look trendy but not trashy. I don't include Brooklyn in this comment because he's an adult.

I think Harper's photo is the nicest I've seen of a young girl, who is growing up in a celebrity family, in a long time.

I suppose it was because, without having actually seen the photo, but having inferred that there was disapproval of it (not here, but on instagram) I was wondering what to expect; whether it would be something akin to those poor over made up, over dressed 6 year olds in the beauty pageants.

I'm not sure why you seem to have taken exception to this. My thoughts are my own to do what I like with.
