I never thought I would agree with Trump but when he said “... I wish a lot of luck to Harry because he’s going to need it.” I can see what he meant.
Please help! (grandchild being locked in bedroom)
Oh Harry.
Please leave the political comments to Meghan.
Just keep it zipped
?

She really does pull his strings doesn't she. Poor Harry, I think he is unhappy away from the life and family support he has always known. Meghan is very selfish in her actions.
When Trump says things like that it's usually a threat.

Trump has actually said for once what many of us have been thinking. I never thought that day would come!

In the video Harry comments on the fact that in the UK he wasn't able to vote for 'his entire life.'
Neither has anybody else.
You should get a job proof reading their messages first merlot!

Yes, it's sad to see, and how upset his family must be feeling for him. Especially the older members, who are pretty wise to recognising climbers. Harry always seemed close to his cousins but that is gone now too.
This reminds me of how we felt here when David Cameron wheeled out Obama in an attempt to influence the voting before the EU referendum.
It didn’t work then and I doubt if Harry and Meghan’s thinly veiled dig at Donald Trump will work either.
Well, I watched this clip, and could not see anything that was said has any reason to have these sort of remarks made about it. Anyone, anywhere, any time who reminds people to register and then to use their votes, can only be good.
Many Americans, (and many of them are Trump supporters) do have a strange childlike, fairy tale belief about anyone with titles such and Prince/Princess - so, hopefully, this may have got through to them.
Yes, obviously, it was rehearsed - would have been a bit of an insult not to make any sort of public statement that had not been carefully prepared and rehearsed. Cannot understand people condemning them for that!!!
I am not any sort of supporter of them, or indeed of any of the royalty - a staunch republican - but I find it strange why these two seem to attract so much phenom from so many.
My take on the choice of clothing Meghan wore, is that nothing is left to chance, and a lot of thought would have gone into projecting the image she wanted.
Maybe she wanted to look less 'royal', play down the 'rich celeb lookalike?'
Project an image more like her target audience?
It has been reported that she has been 'phoning young women personally to encourage them to vote.
Nothing wrong with any of this, as I'm sure both sides of the political spectrum are desperate to get the pool of disenfranchised voters to join their party.
There is after all, a problem with younger people everywhere feeling 'whats the point of voting when everyone seems corrupt?'
Its no good targeting those who's vote you already have!
The statement about not being able to vote by Harry, was a bit weird I thought.
Was he simply saying 'I know the value of voting because I have never be able to?'
Or was it an attempt to (once again) bite the hand that fed him and distance himself from RF?
Could this be Harry caught up in his complicated relationship with his mother again?
He has created a very similar approach to public life as his mother.
Of courting and using the press when it suits, (in fact he and Meghan are hoping to earn a considerable wage from being constantly in the public eye).
But at the same time pretending to himself and everyone else that he hates it.
He is recreating his demons imv.
Meghan on the other hand really does seem to have a life plan. Onward and upward, as far as she can get.
Stirring the cauldron? Sticking the knife in?
No I dont think so, just watching the story unfold and thinking 'why?'
Why on earth would Harry want to old his nose into US politics? He can’t vote and as far as I know he’s still a British citizen.
I hope he enjoys lying in the bed he’s made for himself. He’s just making himself look silly. Where’s his self respect?

Namsnanny I like all your questions! Fascinating, because the story will one day be part of history across two very important nations. I follow the human side of the story, but am surprised how far it takes us into other areas ....... politics, racism, environment, celebrity and entertainment, fashion, sport, armed forces etc.. In fact the royalty bit is now way down the list.
i hope harry is not becoming a loose cannon to the royal family, as his Mother was called!.
It's like a watching gullible teenager being taken in by a weird cult.
Harry trots out the same old tedious moralising lectures sounding more robotic each time. Meghan sits alongside him looking ready to pounce should he fluff his lines and smiling indulgently when he gets them right.
He's way out of his depth and as everyone knows what the pair of them think of Trump his actions could have the opposite effect and encourage wavering voters to ask themselves if they really want their choice of candidate to be influenced by a dim, easily led ex royal who has led a life of privilege and is in no position to advise others on how to lead theirs.
Give me Harry and Meghan any day rather than William and Kate.
Oh yes, furret- agree. What is wrong with a young man meeting someone who challenges the views he grew up with, wakes up with his partner and becomes her solid ally, backing her and supporting her- because he now sees things from a different angle?
They did not endorse a candidate, or a party- they told people it is important to vote, more important than ever- and that they should vote for someonw who cares for the people of the USA.
If some of you read this as being anti-Trump- than it rather proves the point.
The fact he is not allowed to vote in the US yet, is neither here nor there. He is entitled to care about the country where he has made his home with his partner and child- where they will grow up- and where the results of the next vote will affect him, his wife and family- vote or not.
Vitriol has been mentionned a couple of times recently on GN- and there it is- in all its splendour.
I was thinking about how I would feel if I had never been able to vote. If I had stood by and watched and known that things were happening I didn't like. It's virtually impossible to do. The right to vote has been important all my life. Perhaps he actually appreciates the freedom Meghan has given him to speak out.
Furret I so agree with you.
Yes, trisher, same here. And yet- for all sorts of reasons, although I was able to vote - I did so knowing my vote would go straight into the bin and would not make any difference. Thanks to FPP UK- which ensures huge swaves of the population are dis-enfranchised because of where they live.
“ Maybe she wanted to look less 'royal', play down the 'rich celeb lookalike?'

Maybe she just liked those clothes.
More and more they resemble the Duke and Duchess of Windsor; desperate for approval and validation for their actions.
They just look pathetic and have won a few more votes for
Trump,
But she is a rich celeb
Namsnanny and Eazybee. Sorry to labour the point but what would have been right for her to wear ?
Fair enough criticise their attitudes and actionsEtc but isn’t having a moan about Meghan clothes scraping the bottom of the barrel ?
Yes, many rich celebs have joined many important causes- she is not the only one. And NO they do NOT resemble Duke and Duchess of Windsor, at all.
Harry has always been able to vote, he chose not to.
I like the way Meghan dresses.
I don’t care what she chooses to wear.
Seems they didn’t contribute in any way to that book, surely
she will sue ?
