If he makes a full recovery he'll present himself as a Hero who defeated the virus, this will probably get him back in the White House. I find it sickening that his son called him a "warrior" - this is the man who dodged the Vietnam war because of flat feet.

Karma. I don't like trump & feel he has been a negative force in the world, but I don't wish him dead. I do think the news distort the truth for their own benefits. Like in the election the papers covered the private v public health, & they said Trump does not want to buy our NHS' the issue wasn't really Trump buying the NHS or not, but whether private finance wants to buy into our NHS, which they do. You can't trust the news you read in a paper owned by a billionaire, and that's most of them. Channel 4 news is best

It has left a lot more questions than it has answered.

The doctor seem to let slip that Trump was diagnosed by at least 72 hrs ago which is far earlier than he is admitting, and means that he will have infected others.

It was a statement by the WH, and extremely evasive.

WH saying that the doctor got it wrong about how long Trump has had virus.

Can’t be much of a doctor to get such a fundamental thing wrong as we know that time etc is a major factor in this virus.

Doctor said Trump was basically OK in every way.

Immediately afterwards the WH said that his 'vitals' were concerning and critical.

So basically the WH are lying about him being very ill when there is very little wrong with him. Did he actually have a positive test?

Not to mention, where is Melania and how is she? She supposedly tested positive at the same time as Trump.

I agree with suziewoozie when she says that the worry of this is that it will be shown as nothing to be concerned about so feeding the myth DT has so far perpetuated. To be honest, the best thing that could happen is for him to be really seriously ill which couldn't be hidden so his supporters who decry the mask, will have their eyes opened. I haven't ever really bothered about USA politics before but I can't bear the thought of another Trump term. I remember worrying about Bush Jnr getting in because I knew he would find an excuse to invade Iraq so he could do what he thought his father would do. It has so destabilised the world and I think if Trump gets back in, he will be unstoppable in his destabilising it beyond control. If I were to wish him dead, it would be because I thought it would be the best thing for mankind.

I am very confused about all this! Basically, we can’t believe anything we are told about anything by anyone connected with the WH.
Having had the bug, I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, it’s an extremely unpleasant and frightening experience and I feel blessed to have survived it pretty well unscathed.

I'm confused. The doctor said DT had presented with nasal congestion. Since when has that been a symptom of coronavirus? Half the population seems to have the sniffles at this time of year.

I trust that doctor more than the White House.

His medical team will be playing down any updates on his current condition as that's what he will have dictated to them.
His plan will be to emerge from this saying it was no worse than a dose of flu'. He won't want to lose faith after all the rubbish he's spouted!!
