I don’t.
Oh and Police and Crime commissioner.
Thanks, that may be what she meant * Jaxjacky*, I’d assumed it was parliamentary constituency seats.
It does make more sense now. I’m in Wales, and have read up on Scotland too, as we have our parliamentary elections next week, and the Tories aren’t predicted to do well in either country. The UK is getting more divided it seems.

Thank you mokryna I was intending to ask that myself. I think people don't want to know, even about such large sums.
I already knew about them, if that's any help?
I subscribe to the Good Law Project and get very regular updates.
I'd expect you to know - it's them other lot who don't seem to care.
The tories should just rename themselves the English National Party as it’s only in England they are popular, and they just morphed into UKIP.
As a vehement anti-Brexit bore I despair of the inability of the public to be less xenophobic. The level of corruption and dishonesty in the current government is beyond parallel in our history.
Labour is trying to find its way back, the other minor parties sometimes say the right things but no one listens to them. The elections of the 6th May may show a shift of public awareness but that looks unlikely.
All I can say is that I chat to total strangers and have yet find a Brexiteer let alone anyone who approves of Boris. They may not want to talk abd just shut me up b ut they seem genuine.
Tory poll lead slashed as key elections loom across Britain
Maybe people have got over the "things are going to be better because of the vaccine" feeling and realise we need someone stable with a working brain.
I still don't feel there will be a great move as these are generally local elections. I have voted for someone from one party for our new Mayor to be and another for our local council. They do have something in common - neither are Tory.
Yes there seems to be some movement in the latest polls, I think people do have to prepare themselves for a very long haul in terms of labour gaining seats.
That’s interesting from the Guardian, PippaZ. Though it’s probably not surprising that The Times was saying just the opposite a day or two ago,
We shall see soon enough. I don’t put much faith in polls - they’ve so often been way out. I dare say some people enjoy fibbing to pollsters, either on the grounds that it’s a private matter, or else because they don’t want to admit to wanting to voting for the ‘wrong’ party.
But they are still 4 points ahead which is surprising.
One would think that Labour would be flying high.
Who knows.
Lots of people don't bother voting in these council elections.
As for Brexiteers and Boris voters, it takes a very brave person to admit to it. The shy Tory voter is alive and well.
My uni educated children knew more than a few of their peers who wouldn't disclose due to the abuse they would get.
I saw a FB page of a student who had admitted voting Tory and judging by the comments he got you'd have thought he'd owned up to being a serial murderer.
The brave Malala who was shot for wanting to go to school faced a barrage of abuse due to having a Conservative for a friend

This article might help some posters to understand why some voters will not vote labour.
BTW, this is not me bashing benefits.

I guess you never saw Norcott being made fun of on The MASH Report then? He's a professional right winger who makes his living from saying right wing things to get a laugh.
Actually I take back the "made fun of" bit. They were using it as a way of highlighting extreme views on the right. Nobody was being made fun of, sorry.
Times reporting that Johnson went around with the begging bowl to pay for a nanny for his son.
I wonder what he’s promised for that?
The Conservative Party want rid of Johnson anyway. He’s served his purpose and he’s become a liability.
Regardless of his failings there is no one with the stature to replace him among all the little grey men who surround him.
I agree. He is rather portly compared to the rest of them.
?
Is this a new version of the Green Green Grass of home?
As I awake and look around me,
At the little grey men who surround me,
I realise that I was only dreaming.
Chance would be a fine thing.
(Sorry biglouis, couldn't resist.

The Times reporting
Builders who installed deadly cladding on Grenfell Tower have given £2.5 million to the Tory party since the tragedy. £50k personally to Boris Johnson.
I believe that the government is making the people living in these flats which have this cladding pay for it’s removal - it recently passed legislation.
So that is the favour folks.
That’s rather like saying Labour voters are thick. Appalling comment.

I don't know if you watch Gardener's World but they showed some beautiful high rise flats in Italy that had trees growing at all heights in the structure of the building. I said to my husband, Italy plants trees whilst our government installs flammable cladding
they are disgrace

Oh yes and my thoughts were that we so lack imagination in the U.K.
I thought that they were glorious
