Anyone understand why Johnson is so far ahead in the polls?

The majority of people who voted in the 2019 GE DIDN'T vote for Johnson. Can we apply the word 'stupid' to people who don't understand this?

I am pretty sure people understand this but unless we change the way voting works it will remain the same

Happily married Starmer makes people’s skin crawl but Johnson who has affairs with someone that did pole dancing, was responsible for his mistress (well one of them) having an abortion, is living with his current girlfriend ( thought he was supposed to be marrying her: oh of course he’s too busy handling the pandemic and CarrieAntoinette won’t want to settle for a quick registry office job, doesn’t know how many children he has is just ‘human’. I despair.

Every man and woman in the land, legally entitled to vote should be able to do so, and not have to undergo some kind of intelligence test or test to find out how politically astute they are! I find your views on that abhorrent actually.

Now funny enough I would never dream of calling people that choose to vote Labour Lib Dem or whatever Stupid. I do not know these people and because they have a different view from me does not mean I am right
Now in the last 50 or so years Labour have been in power far less than Conservative there must be a reason for this or lots of stupid people

I don’t know why you’re despairing. I couldn’t care less about his personal life. One of my best friends had been married 3 times, has had numerous partners and a very colourful past. So what. It is none of my business and she is a very good friend. Personal life is just that. Personal.

I’m a big fan of Boris he’s no fool he’s very intelligent. He doesn’t sweat the small stuff.
