I read a couple of days ago that ghastly Sarah Moulds who was caught on video kicking and punching a horse has been sacked from her job as a teacher. Can't say I'm sorry. What I want to know is why she hasn’t got a criminal conviction ?

Most inappropriate Trisher!
I am seriously wondering about you!

She should be arrested. Glad she’s been sacked and sincerely hope she doesn’t get another job in teaching. She should have her DoE andS reg. number revoked as a matter of course.

Desmond Tutu's wise words RIP

Hence why, in situations like this, I will always be the one who speaks up for those who cannot speak for themselves - ie, the animal.

How dare you use his name today of all days to probe your point?

Much easier to think of her as a Ms.

Actually, it's much easier to think of her as a horse slapping brute that cannot control her temper.

Of course it is. That's the trouble with social media it doesn't allow for any degree of complexity or any perception of a wider picture.

I wish you'd stop blaming social media for this.

Do you honestly believe that the school trust acted because they were worried what was being said on social media? Ridiculous. Just ridiculous.

They acted because this woman, be she Mrs, ms or Mx, was abusing an animal. Which was caught on camera.

She's useless as a teacher now. No respect. Not because of social media. Because of her actions. Nothing more, nothing less.

If you really think it's OK to slap and kick a horse I'd feel sorry for you.

But I think you just like an argument on ... where? On social media, that's where. Which makes you just as culpable as those you are denigrating.

Justice- there was a thorough investigation she was charged and found guilty of animal abuse.
Injustice- she and her family have to leave their home her children suffer and so does her husband none of whom did anything wrong all because of social media condemnation.
Silence- you fail to speak out about the injustice..
Some even condemn anyone who does point it out

The rspca investigation is ongoing. Animal cruelty is rarely prosecuted.
Abuse of women and children is rarely prosecuted. That’s led to women being able to check out whether their new partner has a history of domestic abuse.
Horses don’t have the ability to check out whether they’re being lent or sold to an abuser. The publicity would stop everyone I know loaning or sale of a horse to Ms Moulds

And horses matter far more than her children or her husband of course.

The people threatening her should be prosecuted.
That doesn’t mean she’s an innocent bystander

trisher Sun 26-Dec-21 18:23:42

The RSPCA has a conviction rate of over 93% possibly because they only prosecute extreme cases and prefer to negotiate with people and reach agreement on the actions to be taken.

Literally no-one on here is saying that. You are twisting people's words to suit your own agenda throughout this whole thread!

Not twisting anyone's words simply applying the philosophy "if you don't speak out about injustice....."

Oh Chewbacca you know quite well who I am I've been on GN for donkeys years. I can see you are trying to undermine the concepts which make you uncomfortable but that's a bit desperate grin

Oh the irony!

The lady (?) in question is appearing in court on Monday charged with two counts of animal cruelty.
