Harry and Meghan's Happy Holiday Card

So the glorious couple have released the first picture of Baby Lilibet on their Happy Holiday Season card, but why are they always so annoying in everything they do? Both children's faces are only partially visible, we don't get a good look at them. Okay, their choice I suppose, but why?

Even more annoying is that they are once again boasting about their charitable donations. As discussed on another GN thread called 'Doing Good' it is generally agreed that charity work should be done privately with modesty, and not to publicise your good works. Instead we have: As we look forward to 2022 we have made donations on your behalf to several organizations that honor and protect families - from those being relocated from Afghanistan to American families in need of paid parental leave.
Just to make sure we all know how wonderful they are I suppose.

Do you believe all they themselves say ?

MissAdventure Thu 23-Dec-21 18:30:11

I give the grandsons a cockerel or some hens for Christmas, usually.
They're spoilt this year, and got my dishwasher.

Beautiful photo.
Not being an expert in babies, the baby just looks a perfectly pleasant baby to me but the little boy is beautiful, and they all look happy.

I think it’s a really lovely family photo. My eyes were drawn first to Archie’s red curls - a handsome boy. The baby - Lilli - looks very cute - I love seeing the bare toes of babies indoors no need for frilly socks or soft button shoes at this young age. H & M look very happy and relaxed. Good for them.

BlueBelle

Sarcasm isnt that pretty GSM
A beautiful happy photo two handsome parents with two delightful children and a lot of vitriolic old miseries on here

I'm happy to be a vitriolic old misery. I can never forgive them for what they've done. Hypocrites.

Put some socks on please.
I hate seeing bare feet

Meghan is wearing shoes!

MissAdventure Thu 23-Dec-21 18:38:38

Babies bare feet are one of the best bits about them.
All those miles yet to walk.
All those places to visit and lands to walk on. smile

Elegran Thu 23-Dec-21 18:47:00

I thought they didn't want to publish photographs of their children? What has changed?

Iam64 Thu 23-Dec-21 18:51:31

Unusual for me to comment without RTFT but - lovely photograph, family look happy, Archie has fabulous hair. I do send cards but many friends do the donate to charity thing. Personal choice.
God bless us every one

Allsorts Thu 23-Dec-21 18:59:00

Not a fan of either of them, so don’t read about the pair. If you give to charity, you don’t broadcast it, very tacky, that sums them up really.

Peasblossom Thu 23-Dec-21 19:38:56

They look very happy but am I the only one to notice that Archie has been photoshopped?

There’s something not quite right with the line of that left cheek.

Peasblossom Thu 23-Dec-21 19:40:52

Actually, thinking about it, I suppose most photos are just altered a little nowadays, to that that perfect picture.

Chewbacca Thu 23-Dec-21 19:42:47

Like I said... miserable bunch. Good grief Alegrias that wasn't very kind of you was it? They look like a lovely, happy family; not at all a "miserable bunch" as you refer to them as. How unkind of you.

Calistemon Thu 23-Dec-21 20:08:59

Archie has fabulous hair.

Isn't it! Darker than Harry's and I hope his sister's will be the same.
However, in my (limited) experience it's often the boys who get the lovely coloured hair, the long eyelashes etc.
envy? Moi? Never!

Was it Barbara Barnes who believed in babies having bare feet?
(William and Harry's nanny)

MissAdventure Thu 23-Dec-21 20:11:49

I might be 10 years out of date, but I thought it was finally settled that barefoot is best for babies.

GrannyGravy13 Thu 23-Dec-21 20:16:07

Lovely photo of a happy family.

As for bare feet I personally love them (I am barefoot at the moment as usual, one of the reasons I have year round pedicures)

You wouldn't love mine, GrannyGravy!

MissAdventure Thu 23-Dec-21 20:24:44

I love "doing" gnarly old feet. smile
It's amazingly relaxing to massage and cream someone's feet.
I could spends hours doing it.
Has to be bare hands, used, too. smile

Calistemon Thu 23-Dec-21 20:26:09

You can massage my feet any time!

Calistemon Thu 23-Dec-21 20:26:44

I had reflexology a few times, it was bliss.

MissAdventure Thu 23-Dec-21 20:31:29

One of the guys at work used to follow me around wiggling his toes at me, saying "look!"
I loved that, and the fact that he calmed down so much when I did it.
Plus he got to discover that shouting and being aggressive didnt work to get his way.

Calistemon Thu 23-Dec-21 20:35:33

I don't much like other people's feet grin unless they're babies and toddlers.

MissAdventure Thu 23-Dec-21 20:37:38

I find them quite interesting.
They must be at least as easy to identify a bare footprint as a fingerprint.
