Online news this morning; Dominic Cummings has declared that Boris Johnson is a 'fu****t' and it is 'his duty to remove him'. Aside from the fact that he supported the Johnson administation until he fell out of favour and was relieved of his position, what kind of ego does this man have when he can declare that 'his duty' is to bring down the Prime Minister? I wonder what his job description is right now, and never cease to marvel at the astounding narcissism of some personalities who were formerly in politics. A sense of unending self importance and omnipotence - Tony Blair being another .

Gransnet has got far too political recently. Blues against Reds ALL the time - boring!

A lot of us are interested in current affairs, and like to exercise our brains and debating skills though Sawsage2, that’s why these threads are so popular. They are always posted under News and Politics, so if you find them boring, why not just scroll by?

Sawsage - you don’t have to read the news and politics threads. I’ve known gransnet far more political than it is currently

As others have said Sawsage you don't have to read any of the News and Politics threads if you find them boring.
You can always start threads of your own about topics that interest you.
Personally, the N & P threads are the ones that I am most interested in.
I am not interested in the threads about dogs but I don't go on them and say that they are boring, because I know that they are of interest to others.

I'm sure there are many GNetters who avoid News and Politics, either because they are just not interested of because they cannot accept that many GNetters have quite different opinions to theirs.
