To refer to a person as common,mdon't think I ever have, is to say they are not well mannered and tasteless. For example, you don't attend meetings with your skirt up yo your pants or boobs out for all to see, that shouts look at me. The focus is on your legs or your boobs. As a former wearer of the tiniest mini skirt, I would never have gone to a a business meeting, see a solicitor etc or any formal occasion dressed like that.To be taken seriously present yourself accordingly. I really, Really hope that she has chosen to do this on purpose, to emphasise the disgraceful misogyny of the original story, and not because she genuinely feels she "should".
