Totally outrageous, misogynistic so called news item in the dreaded DM today.

Senior Tories have accused Angela Raynor of distracting our buffoon Prime Minister by crossing and uncrossing her legs - à la Sharon Stone - in Prime Minister's question time.

Can they sink any lower???

Yet another disgusting example of the true mind sets of the guffawing Tories. They're a disgrace yet again.

Maybe the Mail on Sunday just made up the whole story???

growstuff Mon 25-Apr-22 11:04:39

This isn't the first time Rayner has been criticised for what she wears. This is quite an interesting article from 2021:

Over 5,000 complaints received by IPSO by this morning. Let’s hope they get more than a slapped wrist for this.

Sorry if people are offended, but here we go.

Mail makes up story about Rayner and cites unnamed Tory MP.

Whole world gets angry about it.

Tory MPs start saying what an awful thing it is.

Mail makes a new article about how the Tory Party is quite nice, really. Whilst repeating all the stuff about 41 year old grandmothers.

I can't think I'm the only one who sees this? The Mail are manipulating Tory sympathisers. ??‍♀️

^Angela Rayner should dress appropriately for the situation she is in, and choosing to wear very short skirts whilst facing a mainly male audience from the front bench is inappropriate.^
Knees together, ankles crossed.

This is just abominable. Knees together, ankles crossed? She's not the Duchess of Cambridge. confused

Maybe she should just stay home in a burka in case she inflames any passing men. angry

I was going to suggest she wear a head covering or else shave her head.

I find her hair so distracting I can barely listen to what she's saying.
(I'm female, getting on a bit).

She’s got gorgeous hair, but I do think that it’s extensions

GillT57 Mon 25-Apr-22 11:56:33

the only problem with Johnson's tweet is that it is word for word with the tweet issued by Nadine Dorries, so probably a whips' issued tweet. So, shall we run a book on who ( if it was true) leaked this story to the idiotic journalist in the MoS? My money is on Fabricant, or maybe Nadine in a burst of jealousy.

GillT57 Mon 25-Apr-22 11:57:33

If I was Angela Rayner, I would turn up at PMQs with a tartan blanket to put over my knees.

Mad Nad? She is definitely at least a little bit in love with Bodger

It all smacks of the grl who gets raped because she's wearing a short skirt....its never the mans fault for not conrolling himself always the girl.If Bojo is so easily distracted he's in the wrong job ,but we all know THAT already

Another dead cat story. Johnson has to go. I hope the local elections will frighten the Tory MPs.

They probably did, and the Conservatives are probably very pleased to have found this particular dead cat left on their doorstep, as it has created quite a lively distraction from certain other matters that they would much rather the public forget about.

Doesn’t it say more about Boris Johnson who can’t keep his eyes off an attractive woman to keep his mind on the important job of running the country?

Your hairdresser knows what side her bread’s buttered in urmston

Urmstongran Mon 25-Apr-22 13:08:21

Just saying is all. My hairdresser (entitled to make an observation as anyone is) was surprised that a woman earning that kind of salary had such rubbish extensions is all.

Lucca Mon 25-Apr-22 13:09:26

You’d think Boris would be able to afford a decent haircut too wouldn’t you

MissAdventure Mon 25-Apr-22 13:10:11

That is probably why she flashes her fanny instead, then.

Another female MP was criticised for wearing a jumper and trousers in the House (by another woman).

... and the cardinal sin of keeping her belongings in a small back-pack instead of the traditional hand-bag.

Women just can't win can they? Even with other women.

Mollie Giles is a Barrister whose interests are Brexit, Animal Rights... and "Freedom" (whatever she means by that) - obviously not the freedom to dress in a sensible manner in what was probably a cold environment on that day.

Sometimes I think this government and certain sections of the populace have sunk so low that the barrier is now on the floor...
