I cannot for the life of me understand why Vardy persisted with this case when it was so obvious from the off what she'd done and was lying about it.

F feel somewhat sorry for Colleen, many people don’t bother reading past the headlines and have given her flack for ‘taking it to court’ when in fact, Rebekah took it to court so she had to make a defence and go to court, Rebekah declined her offer to settle twice. Brass neck considering she definitely was the one leaking to the press.

My dear old mum used to say that 'your sins will find you out' which seems apt for this case.

I bet they are too Dilly. He estranged them, they didn't even go to the wedding so maybe the Rooney's wont be the only ones celebrating.

It’s so dismissive and condescending when reading about “2 silly women with more money than sense”. Coleen Rooney was taken to court by Rebecca Vardy. This is all down to Mrs Vardy. She’s obviously a nasty, fame hungry piece of work and the judge saw that. CR had no choice but to attend court and defend herself.

However, from what little I’ve heard today they will both make even more money in the following months with interviews, documentaries etc. Obviously the old saying “no publicity is bad publicity” is true!

I agree that this has been a massive amount of wasted money and court time but it could easily have been avoided if Mrs Vardy had accepted any one of the 4 attempts that Mrs Rooney made to settle out of court. But she was convinced that she'd gain more by pursuing legal action. That went well, didn't it?

Colleen Rooney had no choice, she was summoned to appear in court.

She is far from an airhead and publicity seeking footballers wife.

Rooney didn’t have a choice in this, she was being charged with libel by Vardy. A good judgement based on some of the ridiculous evidence brought by Vardy.

From the little I’ve read about these women, I believe Colleen is a more down-to-earth girl. She and Wayne were childhood sweethearts. She did not marry him for money and fame.

From everything I've read this was entirely down to Mrs.Vardy. And the verdict was the correct one.
