Nicola Bulley 45y Old mum of 2 little girls missing from River Wyre area since last Friday morning at 9:15am walking her dog, Willow.

I thought that they said the ball was missing so presumed they had looked for it at home.

Tilly, with permission from Nicola's family, has now shared 11 answers to questions which have been circulation on social media, and hopes that this will clear up any misinformation.

Nicola and Paul both mostly work from home which is why he was at home that day and the house has CCTV.

They both do this walk regularly and Paul is very well known in the community and very well recognised.

The dog was found very close to both the bench and the harness. The harness was found on the floor not on the bench.

Nicola is an incredibly strong swimmer.

She drove to the school to drop her two daughters off and then left her car there and walked to the river.

The dog was dry when found.

The dog has since been back.

There's CCTV at the back of the caravan park. The only camera that isn't working is the one that would have seen everything.

I think a missing ball would be long gone. Where I walk my dog any ball left lying around is fair pickings for any other dog to wander off with it.

Tilly Anne noted that Ms Bulley is 'an incredibly strong swimmer', and that her dog Willow who she was walking was completely dry when found.

She wrote that the dog would never have a harness on during the familiar walk and is removed at a gate at the top of the field. When the dog was found, it was very close to the bench along with the harness on the floor.

I think we're posting to keep people aware of any developments because many of us can all feel for the family and what they are going through.

I can see how everyone gets conflicting information though, because the police lady definitely said, it is possible that a ball could have rolled down the steep bank close to the edge of the water and Ms Bulley was bending down to pick it up.

It is not a crime scene.

A lot of the speculation on here has been from police reports.

Surely if she got up quickly (for whatever reason) lying her phone on the bench, the harness could well have been on her knee and dropped to the floor
Being a strong swimmer means nothing if you are unexpectedly in strong flowing, very cold water wearing heavy clothes and boots. (Big quilted coat a quilted gillet and short welly boots)
It’s an absolute mystery surely if it had been an abduction there would have been skuffle marks in the muddy grass around the bench or wherever. Looking at photos it looked very muddy grass

No wonder the poor family go around in circles about it all.

I had my car police taped off once, when it broke down on a rural road and blocked the road late at night.

So I am surprised about lack of police tape.

I think we need to be careful posting all that information because some of it relates to unkind speculation about the partner. I don’t think GNHQ will be slow in deleting threads that single out particular individuals which would be a shame for those who are concentrating on the total confusion of events.

That's because it could have caused a problem for other vehicles which might have hit it. It was a warning to other motorists.

Unless, of course, the police suspected it had been used in a Prime.

If she didnt go into the water, could she have willingly run off with someone in the first instance?
She is well known in the area. If someone wanted to, could they have lured her off in a hurry, saying something like "come quick, your child/partner has had an accident. You need to come immediately".

Being a dog owner I do believe she has fallen in the river when her dog got in difficulty (possibly the collar caught on a branch) and as she went to help slipped and fell in and could have been knocked out. Low tide on the River Wyre was exactly 9.30 am that day and that's the only ? I have. As the tide wouldn't start to turn for three hours or so she should have been visible in the water. When the tide came in she would have been swept upstream (inland) not towards the coast which seems to be where the search parties are looking.

There's no evidence of her going into to the water which you would expect with a steep slope, scuff marks etc. The dog was dry so obviously had not been in the water. You make an good point about the tides. I wonder if the police have considered that, you would expect that they have taken expert advice? Why the area has not remained taped off is really a mystery. It looks like the police have made up their minds and that's it. Of course they may know more than they are telling the media. I feel desperately sorry for this lady, her family and relatives.

I’m confident the police will be advised by tidal experts.

I think, perhaps, speculation from our cozy homes is not appropriate. I'm as sad as the next poster, I'm also praying.

Police will be quietly doing what police do.

It has been suggested by a forensics expert that the police investigation has been a shambles (I think that is the word he used).

I think it is possible that foul play has occurred. Just have a feeling.
