Sometimes I'm really relieved that my kids and grandchildren are adults.🙄

Who thought this was a good idea?

For GS ! Has the world gone completely mad ........ Er , yes it has.

Mollygo Thu 02-Mar-23 18:18:58

But actually the comments are no surprise.

Germanshepherdsmum Thu 02-Mar-23 18:20:25

I thought that in addition to having five children you are a teaching assistant VS, which surely requires safeguarding training - yet you seem to think this is an entirely acceptable way for mothers and very young children to spend an afternoon?

We've deleted this post as it quotes a deleted post.

I'm just not a judgemental person

🤣🤣🤣

Mums having a night out in the day involving alcohol sounds a recipe for disaster.

henetha Thu 02-Mar-23 18:37:53

A dose of common sense and decency is needed. Most people can understand that this 'entertainment' is unsuitable with babies and toddlers present.

GagaJo Thu 02-Mar-23 18:42:48

Daily Mail posts an article and people are outraged.

Mission accomplished.

Allsorts Thu 02-Mar-23 18:47:13

They say babies don’t understand, so why oh why put it on. Who on earth employs these people. What is the point? What is their agenda?

I didn’t see it in the Daily Mail, I saw footage posted by one of the Mum’s.

GagaJo Thu 02-Mar-23 18:49:13

The link in the OP is from the Daily Fail.

VioletSky Thu 02-Mar-23 19:01:26

True facts

1. I don't go to cabaret

2. I do not organise these events

3. I don't make personal remarks because discussion is possible, even respectable and commendable without them

🙂

Yes Gagajo I am well aware.

I saw the footage posted by one of the mums present first thing this morning, at least six hours before this thread was started.

Amazing, Bluebelle, isn't it, how GN can remove an innocuous remark within minutes but resolutely ignore hundreds of complaints over many months about these wretched videos.

Oh goodness - I said nothing that could be construed as unpleasant at all.

The only poster who might have reason to report it doesn't report posts (apparently).

Curiouser and curiouser.

I'll give it 15 minutes
😂

Truly amazing.

Someone's finger's on the report button.

You are at liberty to speculate callistemon

But you are only blame shifting, it was your comment which broke guidelines if its been removed

Callistemon21 Thu 02-Mar-23 19:59:04

Oh, well, perhaps the guidelines have been shifted.

GNHQ don't read posts unless they are reported.

I truly thought you did know about safeguarding guidelines, Violetsky

I do apologise if I was mistaken.

VioletSky Thu 02-Mar-23 20:05:55

As I said, I don't think discussions need to get personal

But it doesn't bother me, I just make tea and have a giggle

I'm not in charge of safeguarding cabaret, it's about as far away from my field as possible to get

But I love how much everyone knows about me, I couldn't tell you very much about yourselves at all, if anything
