Why is Keir Starmer afraid to tell the truth about brexit?

It was first reported in 2010 - and what did we have in 2010, another election. An election you equally wanted Labour to lose, I assume Grany.

No case was brought against Starmer, he had done nothing wrong. So what is your problem now, with something that happened over 13 years ago?

Has it not occurred to you that those papers want Labour to lose just as much as you do, Grany. The reason you read them is that they sing to your bias.

This is no different to the recent Fox News case where the editors decided/were told (who knows) that to make profits, they must give the people what they wanted. Not the truth or reasoned argument but an enhancement of the bias they already have. That is what these newspapers are doing. They don't care a jot about truth, facts, accountability or democracy. And you just repeat what they say and believe them. It is almost as if you choose to be gullible; these biased sources are certainly gulling you.

You are allowed that bias as much as the rest of us are allowed ours. But you really need to see it for what it is if you are ever to know the truth.

Starmer was DPP for 5 years so his expenses claims would have been less than £50k per year.

I will list why I think Starmer will be worse than the Tories.
He copied the polices RLB anounced in leadership contest and won on socialist 10 pledges. Reneged on them all once leader.
Hired Martin Forde a top barister to write the report. Completely ignored the report which listed his 163 recommendations, found a hierarchy of racism in the Labour Party, while giving more prominence to AS which means getting rid of life long anti racist Jewish members, also interfered in the selection process so no left leaning members would be chosen no mater how good able they were. So now it's just the right wing no broad church so now establishment will allow him into government.
He is a member of the trilateral commission which does not believe in democracy.
As DPP he was on the side of the establishment meaning JA the Wikileaks founder revealing what America was doing, proper journalism. He didn't help him a lot of emails of his case gone. The Austic chap Starmer said he promised America he would extradite him, his mother begged him not to. Mrs May PM stepped in stopped extradition etc.
If the papers or media disagree with him in government he will do their bidding with no one on the left to stop him. Public ownership, taxing the very rich, no privatisation in our NHS are popular with the people not Starmer, so nothing will change he will not rock the boat. We desperately need transformative change in this country. Lots of videos of Starmer saying one thing then the opposite. Lots have left his Labour Party so many saying they won't vote for him tory. So when if he's in power see how he and his right wing Party does ok. That's it.

I agree with Willow. Grany goes to other sites and takes their words as gospel. Heaven help us when AI is around making it up. If you cannot research, and Grany, it is different from quoting the bits that suit your argument. You really are supposed to understand both sides of the argument in order to present a reasonable one for your own views.
