FannyCornforth is most certainly not a rabid right winger. If that is implied, it is absolutely incorrect.
I’m not sure there are many, if any, rabid right wingers on here, although I have noticed some people are more right of centre, and others more left of centre. Neither is a crime! Neither deserve to be insulted. We are all allowed our views without being insulted or bullied. It’s a discussion forum for goodness sake.

What do you mean volver? I’m not sure I understand.

I mean that there are a lot of posters on here that say the most disgusting things about, in this case M&H; how they set it all up, how they deserve everything they get, and so on.

And others who join in saying less contentious things but think its OK to make up the most outrageous things about people because they put 2 and 2 together to make 5, so it must be true.

Look at some of the comments on this page, which I'll not be answering, because they are puerile. This is the kind of people the anti-M&H types are, and those who side with them are cut from the same cloth.

I would just like to make the following point.

When some favoured posters say they are leaving a thread, that's acceptable. And yes, sorry, but I do include you maddyone, although I don't think any of it is your doing.

When others, who are slightly less popular, say they are leaving a thread, they get told that nobody's interested, why are you telling us that, that its a typical response from them, that its getting too hot in the kitchen. They get asked why they are perpetually hanging around.

That hasn't all happened on this thread.

But the double standards and the attempts to discourage people who face doesn't fit with the gang, they are breath-taking.

I did have genuine reasons as I noted to leave the thread on both days, and shortly I will need to do so again as my sons are coming for lunch. Many of us come to Gransnet to relax, chat, discuss, and then get on with real life. So we have to leave threads. It’s usually that simple for me. I can’t comment on what others do.
