Unfortunately not. The American President has a lot of influence in the rest of the world. He isn't just confined to USA., but conflicts with Xi and Putin on the world stage, The safety of the rest of the world has a stake in who is your president.

He can’t pardon himself (or anyone else) for State crimes. I think Georgia is the one to watch… 13 criminal charges, including violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.

Of course, pigs might sprout wings, and the Supreme Court could uphold one or more of the State courts that have declared him ineligible to stand.

I'm an American and losing sleep worrying about that ugly slob getting back to the Whitehouse.

Urmstongran I do hope you carefully read through all of these replies and then do some actual FACT CHECKING - do NOT take what Trump and his fans say…research for yourself…I think you’ll find that those things you praise Trump for doing actually didn’t…Tax cuts you mention …yes they happened but benefited the well off…not you (tho perhaps you are rich?) in which case yes they did benefit you….etc, etc, each and every point you made has been debunked. Apart from the fact that he’s a thoroughly nasty, immoral grifter, liar and rapist…Why would a woman even LIKE him let alone support him is a mystery to many. You’ve been taken in by misinformation, and a loud voice saying he will ‘fight’ for you! He won’t!

Maybe you're a fan of his obvious lies, as with this Stormy thing, at the start (and ALL THESE are on film, no fake news!) "never heard of her, affair? - certainly not", then (when pictures came out) "oh, yes, might have met her, but I see so many", followed by "payoff?, no absolutely not, why would I", and coming along a week or two later, "oh, OK, the lawyer paid her off, I knew nothing about it", then the (almost full circle, when told that was illegal), "oh, no, not the lawyer, I paid her off, my money, yes, that was it". So, he definitely, he himself, paid off the broad that he definitely hadn't met? Got all that? And that payment, that was for not having an affair, definitely not. Poor girl needed a new dress, & shoes, what's a guy to do?

He relentlessly babbles about "stolen election" - refuted by umpteen election officials round the US who are Republican supporters. He launched masses of legal challenges, all but 2 dismissed for lack of evidence, and those that went to the Supreme court, with a well-known Conservative majority, also got binned!

As for his voters, a shrewd guy called H L Mencken had a great quote, pre-war, said "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public".

Trump will win another election partly due to the contempt routinely expressed for those who vote for him. And then everyone will look around going oh woe is me how did that happen.
